Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tough little air compressor I have this air compressor for maybe five years now, using it regularly between my three cars. I live in the northeast where tire pressures fluctuate between seasons. So far its still working nicely. The power cord sheathing started to pull away from where it enters the unit showing the individual cables inside. Also the gauge lens became blurry after I tried to clean it up with alcohol. The unit does runaway when running, which happens with other small compressors as well. The air hose connection is still tight. I don't know why people complain about the short power cord. For me it is is ideal because storing it is a cinch. I always use an extension cord anyway because my cars are in the driveway and I go around each tire. I need to buy another one before they stop producing these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK! Poorly designed, the hose connection on the machine rubs against the metal collar tearing the hose. Pressure gauge is worthless. Slow. Noisy. No rubber feet so it dances around when running. Had to throw it away, no way to replace hose.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from both cords are short This is a nice Inflator except the power cord is only an arms length long which in my garage it can't sit on the floor while plugged into the outlet. ( you need a table or something to put it on. Then when you put it on a table the cord you put on the tire isn't long enough to reach a smaller tire like a wheelbarrow or generator tire (there small-low in height tires) now something high like a bike tire that you can turn valve up yes it will reach. I know use an extension cord haha but why should I have to... If they's just add a couple of feet to the power cord it'd be perfect... I do recommend it if you don't mind short cords and extra cords (extension) but I returned mine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hose will break on you over time, no replacement for it, save your money I have had this compressor for about two years. But in total have only used it maybe 10-20 times. Mainly for the kids bikes and balls. Used it only once on a SUV car tire, and would not recommend that. Don't buy this, because as many others have stated, and I wish I would have known 2 years ago. The hose will crack and break on you near the connector to the compressor. Bad part is, there is no replacement part for it. Save your money and get one that will last you more that this has. Or just get a good manual bike pump.

I tough it was possible it would be possible to plug a 1/4" hose to this compressor since the plug of the original hose look to be 1/4". But, 1/4" is apparently the diameter of the hose. The plug look to be 1/2". So, do I need a 1/4" to 1/2" adapter?
