Need to use a socket but don't have an impact wrench? Need to access a tight space or reach into a tight area? Mate one if these up with your drill or impact driver and you're in business. These all hold the respective sockets securely and mount to the impact driver snugly. While not an item i reach for frequently it sure is handy at times and I'm happy with this purchase!

Unfortunately, the side walls of the larger sized (21mm and up) sockets are too thick and wouldn't fit inside a strut tower (for example). I had to make a second run to get another socket (individual) to get the job done. I was thinking about returning it but I might keep the set as it is good to have. Would recommend.

I put loctite on the remaining ones to prevent it from happening again. You can still use it wihout the retaining scew but the hex bit falls out with gravity which is annoying.

Also the advertising of them being deep sockets is completely false, the depth of the actual 6 point is the same depth as a normal socket then the rest of the material until the socket attachment is just round and cannot fit a bolt. Completely useless as deep and impact sockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really solid I bought and used for my winter / summer tire change over. FIRST, i use a breaker bar to loosen the nuts. Then i use this on my drill. Lastly, i finish off with a proper torque wrench. Breaker bar is the key. I do my parents and friends tires as well. These are well built.

I bought a Torque Wrench 1/2 inch and want to buy sockets too. I measured the hex nut on the wheels which are approx 0.75 inch which is roughly 19mm. I could not find any socket which says 19mm along with 1/2 inch socket drive. Am I missing something?

Vaan87, you would be looking for a 1/2 inch Drive 3/4 inch, or 19mm Socket. Will the 10 mm and 13 mm socket fit inside a shallow unsitrut? The inner dimensions is 7/8 inch or 22 MM

Msh, The outer diameter of the 10mm socket is 0.59" (15mm) and the outer diameter of the 13mm is 0.74" (19mm). Both of these sockets should work on your 7/8" unistrut.

Would the 10mm socket fit within a hole having a diameter of 13mm and depth of 15mm? In other words, what's the outer diameter of the 10mm socket?

BaxMaston, the short answer is No, this thin wall socket is not thin enough to meet your needs. The 10mm socket is a 'necked down' socket meaning the top portion is thinner than the base. At the fastener end of the socket, the diameter is 14.85mm. this portion runs for 21mm before it widened out to the base of the socket that measures 16.9 mm in diameter.
