I returned them and I picked up my third hose today and as soon as I turned the air on the end blew off of it. I have had nothing but problems with Husky air products this month, so I'm done.

However, after a little under 1 year it's dry rotten. Don't store outside and I use it about 1X a week. Will see how HD covers the warranty.

The upgraded hose bubbled up after two days as well!! Very cheaply made. I have never experienced this with air hoses. Stay away! Poorly made.

Is there a way to treat this air hose so that it stops staining everything with the red coloring of the hose?

I got this hose for Christmas. After attaching it to my compressor I noticed my hands and shirt were covered by the red coloring on the hose. Is there a way to treat this hose so that it will not stain everything it touches? Thank you,

you might try to use rubbing alcohol on a rag and wipe it. If that does not work, check with the manufacturer to see if something like paint thinner might work and won't damage it.

Can this hose be used for propane service?

No, it is not rated for gas, and may deteriorate quickly if there is any butane in the propane (often there is). At higher temperatures, propane tanks may exceed the pressure rating as well, so this hose would not be safe or legal to use with any flammable gas. George, we supply two 3/8" x 50' rubber hoses to Home Depot and I am not sure which one you are referring to. The red version is made in China and the black version is make in the USA.
