Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yeah it's alright It's alright, doesn't sit level anywhere because I'm pretty sure it's tweaked a little bit. Drawers feel fine for the price, had it a few months and it seems to be doing well. I wouldn't recommend putting a lot of weight in the top large drawer, use it for some of your favourite tools you grab a lot and your wallet and whatever. The hardwood top is very soft and you can put marks in it with your fingernail, so I'd recommend grabbing some thick plywood and screwing it in so that you can change the top out when it gets wrecked since the wood on this thing is easily damaged and is glued on so it can't really be removed easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best box for the price! You can't get a better box for this price! Pros: All the drawers have liners and ball bearing full extension slides. The 18" depth still has room in the drawers for all the tools I needed to load in without protruding out from the wall. Sturdy construction. Wooden top was surprising flat (considering our dry climate compared to where it had been MFG.) Bottle opener! Packaged nicely. Cons: Yes there are four stickers attached to the front of the drawers but it only took me 5 mins. to remove and clean up with some Goo-Gone. Not 1 1/2 hours?! They where nice enough to include but not install the french versions. The castors aren't as sturdy as the rest of the cabinet but do the job and look alright. They're hard plastic and I think at some point I'd swap them for rubber wheeled locking castors. Had the whole cabinet assembled (bottle opener and handle installed), castors installed and cleaned up and de-badged in about a 1/2 hour. I'm buying another.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Value, Minor Inconvenience w/ My Unit Generally pretty good value for the money, so far. The casters would be a little nicer if the wheels were a softer/grippier rubber (not sure if these ones are plastic, they feel pretty hard). My one gripe is that my bottom-right drawer requires a significant amount more force to open than the others, to the point that I have to use my fingers pressed against the frame to counter the pull weight or the whole unit moves (even with the castors locked). I tested a couple of the other drawers and they take 8kg-10kg of force to open, but the stuck one requires 16kg; doesn't sound like a lot, but it does make it a bit of a pain to use. Not the end of the world by any means, but a little frustrating when the intent is to use this for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love my mobile workbench. I purchased it along with the Husky 6 foot work table to setup a small shop in my basement. I use it primarily for electronics, 3d Printing and other household shop type activities. It is very heavy duty (more then I actually require) but that said it feels like it will last a lifetime. It is extremely well made and was easy to put together. All of the shallow drawers allow you to easily be able to see and access all of your hand tools. Larger power tools can be stored in the bottom drawers. If you are on the fence as I was for years regarding purchasing one of these, I would strongly suggest that you get one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Husky 9 drawer tool chest. This chest for a DYI'r is excellent. Very solid, heavy duty drawers with liners and nice top. I bought a workbench from another famous Cdn. store that matches perfectly (black with light wood top) and is even the same height so I have over 8 ft. of continuous workbench. Used a hair drier to heat the stickers for 10 - 20 seconds and they peeled right off. Would give it a 5 but plastic casters are so - so (OK if is not being rolled around ) and it was missing one factory installed caster nut insert on the bottom of the chest. HD's fix (and very fast to assist BTW) was to mail me a metric sized nut to fit. I told them to not bother and just picked one up locally and got 'er dun - no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look no Further !!! Amazing Deal Medium duty roll Cabinet 10% of the snap on price for similar size yes it's not a snap on Box but you can buy 10 of these for the price of a snap on one ;) and to be fair it's pretty well made and for the money it cost it's a no brainer really will last years if you don't over load it and take care of it all in all for less than $450 it's a steal compared to $4000 + tax for a snap on do your self a favour and spend the money you saved on good tools the box only holds them ;)a bit of advise form a 30 + year heavy duty Mechanic tools make you money not expensive tool boxes :)))))

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Starter Tool Chest I have been using this for about a year now. I use this in a hangar and it works well. There are only 2 things which I feel might be better. The castors are solid, and they make a holy racket going over diamond plates, but this is easily upgraded. The drawers slide open when I'm pushing the cart from plane to plane in the hangar to do my work, especially when I have to change direction. This is also easily solved by locking the drawers when the tool chest needs to be moved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 52” Husky Tool Box I bought this box to have in the garage at home. It’s perfect for what I needed it to do. Having the wood work-top to replace and old workbench is very good. Everything was in the box, and assembly was fast and easy. No dents or scratches. If I had any complaint of any sort, I’d have to say the time it took between placing the order online, to when it was delivered to the store for pickup took longer than expected. I ended up calling the Home Depot customer help, which was very helpful. Overall very pleased with my purchase. Would recommend this highly.

Is the wood top thick enough to put a vies?

Asked by: Jonanny
Maybe a smaller vise for light use the top is about an inch thick I wouldn't put a heavier vise for everyday use

Can the handle be moved to either end.

Asked by: ognirratts
no the pre assembled nuts are inserted only on one side. I do like the box for the machine shop I have. I bought 2 of them and they came with the matts for inside the draws as well.

Is the wood top waterproof and secured to the body? Or is it sitting loose? Is it prone to warping in moist environments?

Asked by: Archie
The top is secured to the body. I have two units and they are in my garage. I have not noticed any warping nor do i expect to see any.

Happy with this purchase but it was missing the screws to attach the handle and bottle opener. What size screws do I need for this?

Asked by: Matt
Mine was perfect, good value!

What is the difference versus the similar storage unit which has the crankable raisable wood top? It looks virtually identical but it is priced $100 less and of course, it has a movable top (which I doubt I would use). Should I save $100?

Asked by: raymond
The fixed top is good. I would think the fixed top is more sturdy. If one is not going to use the movable top and it’s cheaper I would get it.

Minor detail I know, but it looks like only the red cabinet has a beer bottle opener? Do the other colours get one too?

Asked by: RT359
I have a couple of these boxes. And none of the other colours are pre-drilled for the bottle opener. The red one appears to be from a production line when the Redbox was used as a promo.
