With bottom cross bar installed off-center, it fits right over my 46” Husky tool chest to save space. Adjustable height allows it to align perfectly to my table saw for an outfeed table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very good choice for our kitchen area. Putting together... A very good choice for our kitchen area. Putting together was easy all but the U channel covering the rod to crank both ends up or down, seems it was a bit long, had to undue one leg to make it fit into legs. VERY TIGHT BUT POUNDED IT TOGETHER with a wood block and making sure it all worked after that portion of assembly. Very nice addition to the home.

Can you install the crank on the left side instead? It will be in the way on the right side, as I'm looking to buy a second bench (standard 72") to make a corner. Ideally if I can assemble the crank on the left would be best.

Asked by: hendermi
There is a hole on the left side that matches the hole on the right where the handle goes, but upon sticking my finger in the hole (I did a spider check first), I found nothing with which to engage the crank mechanism. It was just smooth cold metal in there. Same with the back side of the right leg (I was hoping it might rotate to be a lefty for you). Likely the two legs are cut from identical templates, but the mechanism appears only to be on the right side. This doesn't mean it can't be done, but it can't be done by ME (a regular end-user and not a handy-anyone with tools to make the impossible seem possible). Hopefully someone else gives you a better answer.

Does this table "jiggle or sway" when you work at it? I'm looking for one that doesn't jiggle when I'm cutting, carving, punching, sanding, etc. Thanks!

Asked by: Leatherella
The table is very stable. However, I would recommend that for maximum stability that you use the feet instead of the wheels - the wheels do have lever to prevent moving but depending on how much pressure you are applying, they may not suffice. Each wheel has it's own brake mechanism which is a nice touch. Both (wheels and feet) are included and the feet is what came pre-installed on mine. I had to remove them to put the wheels on. The height adjustment does not seem to jiggle either. Hope this helps you out.
