This heavy-duty set is made with high-grade all welded 20-gauge steel and finished with a tough matte blue powder-coat finish. Fifteen drawers and top till provide an impressive 35,767 cu. inch of storage capacity. Each drawer glides on 120 lb. rated ball-bearing drawer slides that have a soft-close retention system that prevents slamming and ensures that the drawers stay closed. A total of 8 grounded power outlets and 4 USB ports integrated into the top till keep your power tools and other accessories charged up even while the chest is locked. Great drawer layout, slides and locks work great under load. Also super handy to have all the power outlets and USBs up top. Easy to clean and the included liners fit nice and somewhat stay In place better than previous ones I’ve used.Would definitely recommend this to anyone! Only down sides are the full length drawer could use an extra rail or two for support. I have it loaded up with sockets but still has caused me no issues as of yet. The soft close feature worried me on how it will hold up, but so far so good seems to work excellent even when loaded up. Thanks for reading! Hope this helped!

Good variety of drawer sizes all with soft close and comes with rubber drawer mats. The power outlets and USB charging ports on either side of the top shelf is a nice touch. Received it undamaged as it comes very well packaged and picking it up at my local Home Depot was a breeze. Couldn't believe how well everything went! I'm all about bang for the buck and this this thing nails it in my opinion!

Firstly: The Metal Gauge is 20 and not 18 Ga like the USA Version. Secondly: The Top drawer in the USA Cabinet (Rollaway) has two Drawer slides. The Canadian version has only one drawer slide. Not the same quality at all.

Certains tiroirs ont de la difficultés a rentrer si ont pousse pas au milieu du tiroir , (quand il y a trop de pesanteur a l'intérieur , moi c'est toutes mes douilles et mes grosses rallonge, = pesant). Non ce n'est pas la qualité d'un Snap-On , mais c'est pas le même prix non plus. Esceque sa fait la job, OUI Esceque je suis satisfait , OUI. Esceque le monde a job son jaloux , OUI. ;-)

It has more than met my needs, and though the price has increased since I purchased it I still believe it represents good value for what it offers. It is a very heavy set that translates to a sturdy box which, thanks to the 6 large casters, rolls around easily. There is ample storage with a variety of drawer sizes, all of which can be locked. The top hutch is great for storing larger and frequently used items. Each side of the top hutch has a power bar with AC and USB output which is very convenient for powering chargers. I have wired LED strip lights into the top hood which turn on and off with the opening and closing of the hood for a custom look and brighter interior. I'd highly recommend this tool chest to anyone looking to store and organize their tools.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for heavy duty shop w/ daily movement. Would not recommend. I have had this tool box for 4 months. In our HD mine shop, we are constantly being shifted around bays daily. My issue is the position of the casters being inset to the edges. It's weak and has bent the castor up towards the box. It now "teeter totters" on the center casters. I am having issues with the castor locks getting stuck on the bottom of the box causing the toolbox to veer off course when moving. I don't even have close to the max weight in it. The drawers are starting to stick as well as the locks. I have a welder working on a reinforced frame with heavy-duty casters that I can sit it on and try to salvage this box.

The drawers are smooth and have enough resistance to them so that they wont slide open if it is on a bit of an slant from the shop floor not being level. The power bars are extremely handy to have built in and even with the box fully loaded with tools i can move it around the shop as if there is nothing in it at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tool storage, mobile work bench. This is everything I thought it would be. Pretty pricey and I was waiting for a sale, but needed it now, so paid full price. Not sorry. It came mostly assembled. Just needed to install the pegboard, grab rail and bottle opener. Only need one tool; all allan screws supplied were the same size, taking all the guesswork out of which screws to use where. Soft close drawers add a touch of class. You’ll love it! It’s all of 450 lbs, so you may want to get help to un-crate it.

Is the pegboard steel or your typical pegboard material..? Is it also detachable..?

It's steel. It flips up and down, it ships folded down. I wouldn't call it detachable but you could probably unscrew it if you wanted

How can I objectively determine from these reviews if this product is suitable for me, when all the reviews come from homedepot.com and refer to a slightly different model. Heavier Duty model, which this is not. I find this very misleading.

I need to store the unit in my basement and 442 lbs is too much to lift down the stairs at once. Just wondering if the drawers can be removed to reduce the weight and also the wooden top appears to be removable.  Thank you
