I'm still not sure what makes an impact extension different than a regular extension except for the black? I got this because I was worried my regular extensions would shatter and make a mess of my face. I feel safer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, shiny Nice set, with plastic retainer to keep them together until I find the right place in my toolboxes. I bought them after trying to disassemble a toilet valve for a one piece American Standard toilet. The expanding joint that seals the valve to the toilet required a longer reach than my existing set could reach and working inside of a toilet tank doesn't provide a lot of room to swing a wrench. Looking forward to an easier time replacing the valve by having this set in my toolboxes.

I had a job pop up where I needed dependable, strong 1/2" sockets and while buying a metric socket set, I bought these two. I got surprised by needing an impact socket set, I didn't want to get surprised by needing extensions when I got back home. As with any socket, if you have impact sockets, you need a set of these extensions. They are tough and fit well, plus they have the Husky guaranteed forever option. My collection grows.

The company who balanced my wheels torque the lug nuts far too tight. To the point my other extension from another name brand company trying to remove loosen them. These Impact extensions handled the job wihtout a sweat. Cannot recommend enough.

The 3 connector pieces appeared to be fine, however the impact sockets (metric and SAE) were in the worst shape I have ever seen a tool. Differing finishes, unreadable sizes and it looks like there was zero quality control. I returned everything.

The price for these 3 accessories is quite high when bought seperate from the sockets.

The picture on the website is misleading as 1/4” plastic peace is shown separate from the bars when in fact it’s inserted on one end of each bar. Moreover if you don’t know how to separate it, it breaks on the socket and you have to drill it out.

Hello, the shortest item in the picture is a step down adapter, this will allow a 1/2 inch drive impact gun to work with 3/8 inch drive sockets.
