The top cabinet peice dressers don’t lock, are they supposed to lock? When I watched a YouTube review they locked.

Yes, they lock. First, you will need to pull all the drawers out, then lift the top lid so it's fully open. After this is complete, you will need to close the drawers first before lowering the top lid. If you try to close the drawers with the lid down, they won't latch to the lock properly. If you look inside the upper lid, you will see a 2nd hinge in the back center that pulls a bar up and down. That's the locking bar. If this doesn't work, you're either not pulling the lid far back enough, or you're not pushing the drawers back in far enough before lowering the lid.
