The Husky 41 in. 16-Drawer Tool Chest and Cabinet Set is great for storing and organizing all your tools and hardware. The unit is made from high grade all welded steel and finished with a tough industrial blue powder coat. 16-drawers and easily accessible top till provide a total of 24,954 cu. in. storage capacity. Drawers have full-extension ball-bearing slides that can support up to 100 lbs. These slides also have a unique Secure Latch retention system that ensures your drawers are completely closed and secured. The reinforced top lid is supported by gas struts which make it easier to open and close. An ergonomic handle and 5 in. x 2 in. casters allow you to easily move your cabinet around your workspace. Total weight capacity of the cabinet is 1,200 lbs. Both the chest and cabinet have an internal keyed locking system, with 2-keys provided, for added security.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice to look at. Top unit can be improved. 4/5 Nice matte black textured coating. Casters are nice, bottom unit feels sturdy and solid. The top unit is less so. Some of the drawers are slightly miss-aligned so they don't offer that 'buttery smooth closure'. The top lid also acts as the drawer lock, so it is harder to open or close sometimes. Lastly, there is a level problem either with the bottom-of-the-top unit, or the top-of-the-bottom unit as they do not sit flush (even with the rubber feet attached properly) and rock a bit. A small cedar shim fixed that. Overall quite happy for the price of purchase. Easy Assembly. Purchased online. Shipping was fast and they left the package as detailed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Get the Red Chest... I purchased this unit because it's more compact than the 52" unit that used to be available with the USB power strip built in. What I did not know was that the black version of this unit does NOT come with this strip. The angle of the photos on the website at the time of purchase did not reveal that this unit does not have the power strip - only the red version does. Only the red version was set up in store to look at. The listing for the black unit also itemizes the strip as quantity one - Home Depot should fix this as there are numerous reviews stating the same. I only kept it because it is not easy returning a 300lb item to the store. Do yourself a favor and get the Red version which is less expensive and has the strip included...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value Good weight ratings on the drawers, lots of space. I'm not a fan of the drawer hold-close mechanism in each drawer slide. With the wide drawers it's a little too easy for the drawer to open or close a little crooked and jam up a bit of you grab it at one side or the other, but if you're careful to open and close with two hands, or grab the drawer in the center it's not a problem. Also the drawer liners are foam, kinda like neoprene material, which while better than nothing they're kinda easily damaged by corners of tools etc. Those little issues aside I'm very happy with it for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy this in red or else.. This product is listed as being available in red or black, and the differences between the two are significant. I saw the red one on display and decided i would go with the black one as the only red one available was the display model. The black one was $10 more, no idea why, and when I got it home to put together, the black tool chest was missing the the “power bar with 4 outlets and 2 USB ports”. Not just missing, but not even a recess where it should have been. Very upsetting. I guess the moral of the story is: buy the floor model, so you know for sure what you are getting, and likely at a discount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for price. Strong and lots of space. After searching for a larger chest for a while, i was blown away how much a simple chest cost. All the value chests were very flimsy or had poor sliders. This chest is great balance between price and quality. 100lb capacity drawers. Smooth sliding ball bearing sliders. Self closing drawers. Included liners. Strong casters with brakes on the swivels. I had to exchange 2 of the upper chests that were damaged in shipping, but HD swapped them for me quickly. Inspect them at the store if you can. Both cabinets come with 2 keys each and all open both cabinets. Note: the upper cabinet is about 3 inches shallower than the bottom. The only small issue i didn't like was the gas struts that open the lid. I found they were a little stiff and if the lid isnt open all the way, you can't open the drawers. This doesn't apply to the lower case. I'm very pleased with my purchase and recommend this highly.

I’ve got this, a 27” upper/lower combo, and another 36” lower: ALL my tools are sorted, and they generally aren’t on top of each other in the drawers.

The electrical power bar in the top of the chest is also a great addition for charging my battery operated tools as well as USB charging ports for charging my phone. It is well made with a variety of drawers for wrenches and other tools. It is well built, sturdy and looks great in my garage. I am well pleased with my purchase. Home Depot has the best price for this great product. It was also shipped right to my door. Thanks so much.
