CAT6 Feed-Thru connectors are single piece connectors that use the same assembly process, no special assembly or multiple pieces for CAT6. Open-end Feed-Thru connectors offer several advantages over standard closed end connectors. Conductor order can be verified prior to crimping. Conductors that Feed-Thru the connector are inserted far enough to be pierced by the pin below. The cable can be pushed or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are as close to the pin contacts as possible and that the jacket is seated beyond the primary strain relief for a secure connection. What is the minimum maximum of quantity and wires sizes ? Example : 1 to 2 #6 AWG 2 to 3 #8 AWG 2 to 5 #10 AWG 3 to 6 #12 AWG Reference catalog number of Ideal website is not the same. Regards

Is this good for doing pigtail for aluminum wiring to copper? If not then what is the best connector to use for pigtailing the switches, plugs and lights in a home?

Sunny no the connector is not rated for aluminum wire. Look for the purple Twister Al/Cu connector in the stores it is the only connector that can be used with aluminum wiring. Keep in mind every connection you make must have at least one copper wire. Have fun Ron at ron.kipper@idealindustries.com
