Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only lasted about 1 year This item seemed to work fine in the beginning but after a little water spilled onto the basement floor and it failed to go off (with the sensor located beside the drain) I changed the battery and it still did not work. I would only buy another one if it was on sale at the Dollar Store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features for the right application I bought and installed this product about a month ago, there was no reason for it to sound an alarm to date, it will work as designed because I tested it several times. Needed to add to the wire to extend it by an extra 10 feet. The overflow is in the basement and with the extra wire extension I installed the alarm under the kitchen sink upstairs. Could not hear the alarm going off from the upstairs living area, the extension fixed that problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Batteries last a long time Batteries seem to last forever as I test it twice yearly. So far it works when tested and luckily haven't had a leak. I have 3 alarms. One under dishwasher, near the washing machine and under a very old hot water tank.
