Ideal Security's Patio Door Security Bar with childproof Anti-Lift lock acts as a burglar bar for your sliding patio doors and a child safety bar to enhance the security and safety of your home. Made with extruded aluminum, this rugged yet lightweight security bar adjusts from 25 3/4-inches to 47 1/2-inches wide to fit most patio doors, so no cutting is required. The patio door security bar mounts in the middle of the door, not the bottom, allowing you to open your door without bending down to reach the bar. The security bar locks at all widths to secure your patio in any position. The optional childproof clip prevents children from pushing the bar up and moving the door and keeps the patio door locked even when its in a partially open position.Unlike pressure-mounted bars that can shake loose and fall, the patio door security bar and saddle are screwed into the door frame and profile. When not in use, the bar pivots up on its bracket to be stored out of the way in the door frame.

Moved to a new address, the house has a patio sliding door in master bedroom, the previous owner use a bamboo stick on the track to stop from opening the door from outside, and it was awkward. Had to bend down to pick up the bamboo stick when opening, and lay the stick down when closing. With this bar, it is more convenient opening/closing the door.

I have 59" wide sliding patio door by Stanley. Including stationary side groove depth to sliding door, I measure 26" (may be wrong) and am wondering if this will be compatible measurement for bar taking into account all the mounting hardware. Appreciated
