INTERBUILD solid acacia hardwood island countertops add a touch of warmth and drama to any kitchen. Acacia is tough, with a density comparable to Teak. Acacia countertops have random length and width slats that are finger-joined together in a unique rustic design, providing a one-of-a-kind countertop. Acacia has good wood-working properties, can be cut, shaped, and drilled with standard wood-working tools. Under-mount sinks can be installed since they are solid wood with no veneers or MDF cores. All acacia countertops are FSC certified as a sustainable resource. Panels are factory oiled with a proprietary plant-based food-safe HARDWAX wood oil, 100% VOC free, with no peanut-based products. The countertops can be used for island and tabletops in kitchens, restaurants, cafes, bars, as desktops and for outdoor applications!   1. 74 in length x 40 in width x 1.5 in thick, With Square Edge. Also available in standard counter and island top sizes with lengths up to 120 in. and widths up to 40 in.
  1. Solid Acacia hardwood with rustic knotty wood grain design, Finger joined (FJ) slat construction, slats range in Width from 2 in. to 3 in. and in Length from 14 in. to 18 in.
  1. Species available include Acacia, Hevea, Karri, Senna, and Teak, Certified by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) as sustainable resource.
  1. B/C Grade Rustic tight knots on B side face; voids & other defects filled and sanded smooth on C face.
  1. This wood panel is not finished and needs to be sealed prior to installation. This is required to seal the wood against surface water damage and to prevent drying due to changes in relative humidity.
  1. On panels with a stain or clear finish, 2-3 additional coats of clear natural wood oil (mineral oil or INTERBUILDs HARDWAX oil) are required on all 6 surfaces including the top, underside & 4 edges.
