Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor fit. Leaks! Does not fit correctly. There are problems with this unit in that it occasionally fails to cover the hole. This results in the tank failing to fill as the water keeps running into the toilet bowl and it has resulted in a large wastage of water. We now have to monitor the toilet tank after each use and operate the lever several times to get the stopper to seal or fit correctly to prevent the water from running. Will not purchase this unit again.

I'm wondering if I need a #4 or #5 actuating unit for my toilet. It's hard to make out the model # on the toilet, seems like MAV 11 or MAY 11 ____. I'm unable to read the last four digits. But the toilet was installed I think 1988 or 1989.

    Asked by: Neil N
I am unable to answer your question directly. My suggestion is that you take out the existing valve and compare it with the photo of the product you intend to buy. Attention is drawn to the angle between the disc and its connecting arm.
