Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shed Bought the shed a month ago. It came on a flat pack skid and three big boxes. After spending an hour laying out all the pieces across the yard I thought “ what have I got myself into?” I couldn’t have been more wrong. The instructions are concise and everything went together exactly as described. Me and my 6’ sixteen year old grandson put it together in a day, including levelling the ground. The way it assembled is brilliantly engineered and needed minimal tools. I do recommmend a base below the floor. Having said that I levelled the yard as best I could and it still all assembled plumb and was very forgiving. Buy this shed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2 Man setup, good instructions, not overall hard. Bought and had HD deliver to house. Constructed shed on a wood platform base, perfectly level. Definitely a 2 man job, took 6.5 hours start to finish. Instruction were clear, but need close attention. Parts are all well labelled. Stay organized, espeicially with fasteners. Phillips #2 and #3 needed, as well as rubber. mallet and adjustable wrench or adjustable pliers, and at least a 6 foot ladder for the roof portions. a 2 step ladder helps with interior work. Do not try to build on windy day, it's flimsy until all walls are up. Once roof is on, it's sturdy. Not super tough: Hit a panel with a sledge hammer, and the shed is compromised. Would not recommend in urban areas where theft is a problem, a crowbar and some effort and the door is open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Shed 11 months later and she's still standing. She holds a lot of my heavy tools on the shelves inside. Held up great throughout the winter. No snow or rain gets in. Lots of space to pack all your stuff inside. Built a nice little ramp for easy access for the lawn mower, etc. For the price, I highly recommend it. Cheers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design-Waiting on replacement parts VERY POOR DESIGN! Roof gets warm and comes unsecured on edges(ends) leaving a gap Track is missing in the design that would allow it to sit in as there is in the middle and the skylight. Other sheds have pieces that are screwed down from the top and outside to hold the roof edges in place, this one has screws that come up from the underneath side and are expected to hold in place(in a piece of corrugated plastic) Very Disappointed-Keter asked me to disassemble and return....seriously? Now they are going to send me replacement parts which if they are not somehow different will have the same problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not recomedned If I could give this product a zero star I would. I bought this shed a little over a year ago based on many of the positive reviews. I had it professionally installed, which I highly recommend. The shed looked fantastic. It was much cooler than another plastic shed that I have, which is handy in the hot summer months. This fall however, the Kingston area had a nasty wind storm and this Keter Factor shed collapsed. Please see the photo. It's really quite flimsy and not at all designed for high winds. Because this damage happened in the first year I owned it I was hoping to get some help from either the retailer, or the manufacturer. Neither were helpful. Keter simply stated "Unfortunately, the warranty does not cover weather-related failures" And they suggested that I contact my insurance company.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Saturday Test of My Marriage Looks like this shed is going to work perfectly to store the riding mower and other garden tools. My husband and I dedicated a Saturday to assemble. Started around 8am and with a lunch break, it was pretty much done, and ready for use, by dinner. With anything this elaborate, there is always going to be a challenge on pieces fitting, or a confusing step in the instructions, but for the most part, things went well following the instructions with some minor improvising on our part. The marriage was tested a few times that Saturday and I am glad to say we passed the test. Now we wait for the shed to be tested for winter durability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap and flimsy Bought only seeing pictures online as my local HD didn’t have a display. Not sure how this has a 4 star rating. Walls and roof panels are extremely flimsy... just dreading the first storm as I’m fairly sure there won’t be much left. Floor is really cheap too. Make sure you build a really solid bases or put it in concrete as there’s not much to the floor they provide. Screw chases weren’t always drilled through. Some holes were too large for a recommended fasteners they provided. Window is beyond cheap. Door latches are not the most secure. Overall, save your money and buy a buyer shed because this one won’t last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many missing parts I always take the time to read reviews carefully, and with this shed, I feel compelled to leave one so that others don't have the same experience as I did. I bought this shed over a month ago and paid someone to build a platform and assemble it for us (we have 2 small children and needed help!) Straight out of the box, both doors were damaged and 8 different sets of parts (assorted screws and strips) were missing. It was like they included the correct number of screws for a smaller version of the shed. We have been back and forth with Keter several times to no avail trying to get the additional parts. This is not a shed you want to buy and not a company you want to deal with.

What type of screws are recommended to secure the shed floor to a wooden base (plywood)?

Asked by: Pirell
Hello, securing the shed to the ground is always recommended. Affix the shed to the foundation by drilling holes in the shed floor at the pre-marked locations and screwing it into the foundation using appropriate screws (screws not included). You may want to check with your local retailer to see what they recommend.

Would I require a permit for a shed this size? I live in Mississauga, Ontario.

Asked by: Kirusan
No. According to the municipal bylaw site for Mississauga, a permit is required if a detached structure is larger than 107.64 square feet (10 square meters). The footprint of this shed should be no larger than 92 square feet. This shed can be built without the need of a permit.

Hi is this lockable, please send me a close photo of that area

Asked by: Pawan
Yes. The left side door has a lever at the top and bottom on the inside to keep that door shut and the right door is the main door for regular use. When you close it on the outside the handle have a swing lever to lock them together to keep the right door shut. this lever has a small hole to also be able to place a Padlock through to officially lock your shed.

Hello, What is the correct base size? I found two official user manuals for this same shed. One says 101" x 130.5" base and the other one 97.6" x 128.3" . Even here on this page, Keter gives both answers.

Asked by: Pirell

CO plastic bolt of sorts. I am having a lot of trouble installing them do you screw them in part way and then pound them in. It seems threaded for a bit then not threaded. Where you put it it is threaded and then the hole does not seem to be threaded.

Asked by: broomstick
Just screw it in till it stops. don't over tighten. while the instructions seemed a wee bit vague to me too, I assure you if you follow them every thing will work out great.
