Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with Purchase The 3 pack was the best value. Installed all 3 in 5 minutes. Snapped into existing hard wired set up of same brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy installation I feel reassured having installed these three replacing some very out of date units in a recently purchased home. They seem to be functioning properly but hope never to have a situation where a real emergency is detected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Install. When it came time to change out the three older Kidde combo smoke/CM alarms in our home, I wanted to make sure that the replacements fit correctly. These contractor units did the job and interconnected perfectly and no mods to either the electrical plugs or mount were required. Also the batteries are front loading meaning the alarms didn't have to be removed from the brackets. All in all an easy process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality and good deal I bought this as it was being offered as a pack of 3 which I required. The alarms have not.been put to the test thankfully and I bought it because of the brand name and the Home Depot deal which was really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really easy to install I bought this to replace my Kidde alarms that are set to expire. The wiring harness and the mounting brackets are the same. The replacement was just unplug the old one and plug in the new one. Tested them and they all synced up perfectly. Took me less than 10 minutes to replace 3 alarms.

Why is this model not on the Kidde website? Is it a dual sensor?

    Asked by: LarDouz

Bought these a few months ago. Installed correctly and all three connected go off when tested. Problem is that they randomly sound. Three short beeps and the word FIRE. Only one of the alarms randomly goes off at a time and it isn't always the same one.

    Asked by: LDew
There are many reasons for the units to sound as you describe. IT would be more appropriate to contact the tech support line at 1-800-880-6788. They can help sort better and if there are any warranty issues, they can take care of it directly.

When these units are interconnected, is it possible to determine the unit initiating an alarm when they are all sounding?

    Asked by: Erico
The initiating alarm will have the red LED flashing rapidly while the rest will not - as well as having the Hush button on the initiating alarm being the only one that will silence them.
