Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Temperature Control (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is our 2nd Kitchenaid Induction cooktop. We have always had gas stoves and liked that we could adjust the temperature so quickly but did not like how difficult it was to clean the cooktop. When we built our new house we decided to try a Kitchenaid 36" Induction cooktop and we loved it. It has the same ability to control the temperature as a gas stove and the glass cooktop is a breeze to clean. When we decided to move again we chose the 30" Induction Cooktop. It boils water so quickly, able to control the temperature and is easy to clean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fire in electrical Like all other KitchenAid products that we purchased for our reno, this is the last of the lot that has now failed and could have caused a house fire! Last night while cleaning up from dinner, a foul odor was smelled in the glass top. Smoke started to billow out from the underside of the cooktop. In order to stop the electrical fire, we had to shut the breaker off. There should have been a fuse installed to blow and not be allowed to continue to burn without having to shut the breaker off. Had it happened in the night, we may be talking a different outcome.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cooktop stopped working within 4 months If I could put less than zero stars I would, Stay far far away from whirlpool cooktops, first induction cooktop we got died within 4 days. 3 months later they finally replaced it and it died 3 months later. Customer service is useless, and the company they used to come and service my broken cooktop was extremely rude to my wife, when she asked him to keep the noise down because my children were napping the guy proceeded to purposely make more noise and kicked my front door closed. I regret purchasing anything from Whirlpool, stay far far away!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No complaints about cooking on the cooktop I have gone through 2 of these cooktops within a 5 year span. Will not buy another as they are not reliable. Both times the motherboard and control panel have blow. The cause was not due to faulty electrical system as we have new home with a surge protecter installed on our electric panel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BROKE AFTER 2 DAYS We had this model for about 7 years with no problems (I guess it's the predecessor to the model on the website; it looks exactly the same, but has a different model number). Two weeks ago, 2 burners stopped working, error F47 started flashing and it tripped the braker. We continued using the other two burners, but the same thing happened. Knowing that it would take a while to get it repaired and we had to pay for it anyway, we decided to buy a new one - same exact model. IT BROKE DOWN 2 DAYS AFTER USE! Same exact problem! We couldn't believe it! We called Kitchenaid to have it repaired and to our great surprise, they will not fix it because they claim that the problem was caused by our installation - not enough ventilation. WHAT?? How did the previous cooktop, same model, same installation/configuration, work for 7+ years with no problems? I've read plenty of reviews from other customers complaining of this error F47 and the multiple break-downs they have endured. Did Kitchen-aid blame them for the break-down? I am so disappointed in both Kitchenaid and the technician who came to our house. He did not mention that we would have to pay for it. It almost seems they have conspired to make us pay for the repair which won't be cheap since the whole electrical bottom part has to be replaced - everything but the glass top. We were so stupid to buy the same model again: the money we spent on it, the take-out meals as a result and a portable induction cooktop we ended up buying to get by since they're is only so much you can cook in an oven; not to mention the frustration and the hassle. I was on the verge of tears during my call with Kitchenaid. So disappointing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, 1 large burner should be in front (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love my new cooktop. Even though my old cooktop was 2 induction burners, I do enjoy using the new one with 4 induction burners. My big criticism though is at least 1 of the large burners should be in the front. I am only 5 1” and it is hard to see into the pot at the back - which is usually a large pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Géniale ! Excellent achat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We purchased this together with other KitchenAid appliances for a kitchen reno. I have only recently been able to start using it and I am absolutely loving the ease of use and the quicker cooking times. This is definitely a quality product and I would highly recommend this cooktop.
