I almost returned this because I thought- oh it's going to be heavy - there's no room in my kitchen etc- I was so glad I Tried it- this mixer is light, powerful and so easy to use and clean!!! The beaters just snap in and the eject button pops them out so easily to rinse off- my cake batter and icing and glaze were the smoothest they have ever been- also I use it with the kitchen aid mixing bowls - this has actually changed my life. Tonight - mashed potatoes!!! Awesome product. Tip: to rinse off beaters just put them in a bowl of soapy water and turn on the mixer for 3 seconds!!! - Fun!!

I use it to make cookies, muffins and cakes. Took this out of the box and washed the beaters and put it away and threw the box away. It's Kitchenaid right, that shouldn't be a problem. Wrong! Took it out 2 weeks later and it won't even cream butter and sugar. Had to let butter set out for another half hour before it would blend it. It had already been sitting out almost an hour. Hopefully the store takes it back with no box. Most mixers show you how many watts their mixers are Kitchenaid does not on this website. Now I know why. They are trying to sell these based on brand only.

Received as a Christmas gift after my 22-year old mixer died and finding out the $10 replacements are loud & clunky. I always wanted a KitchenAid! Turns out it's beautiful to look at, wonderfully weighted, smooth & quiet......but EXTREMELY underpowered. Top speed is incredibly weak and doesn't whip for squat. I've tried making whipped creams and puddings with flat & kind of watery results. For straight Mixing, it's fine, but why not just use a spoon at that point? Unfortunately, I have no proof of purchase for a return, but am looking around for a good deal on another brand.

The old hand mixer I had was the same so I hardly used it because I really hate loud noises. The first time I used my new KitchenAid hand mixer, I was blown away by how quiet it is. Then, I thought, "Great. It's quiet so not very powerful." I know....it's KitchenAid. I never should have thought that. Well, it quickly proved me wrong and I use this many times a week. However, when I bake, I prefer to use my stand mixer because this doesn't mix as well or as fast and my arms get tired quickly.

This mixer had been quite good until yesterday when my wife was making cookies for our son's birthday and noticed a small chip of plastic in one of the cookies. We examined the mixer and noticed that plastic piece into which the mixers insert had chipped off. Fortunately, we think we found all the pieces but it was startling to say the least. We have a Kitchenaid dishwasher and refrigerator so this isn't an indictment of the brand, just our mixer.

Anything from homemade whipped cream, waffle batter, to thick brownie batter...this mixer makes it so easy without any mess or fuss. It’s much quieter than my old mixer, fits perfectly into my hand, isn’t so light that the beaters throw it around but isn’t heavy enough to complain about it while I am using it. I couldn’t believe that it cut right through a triple batch of my homemade, extra thick chocolate avocado pudding. My last mixer wouldn’t even come close! It wipes up easily and the beaters fit perfectly into my dishwasher. Love it!!

I bought this a couple of months ago because my husband and I are giving each other a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for Christmas but we needed a mixer. For $30, this was a great buy! Of course there's only one attachment option but for cakes, cookies, and quick mix recipes it's perfect! I had actually bought a quick, cheap option to hold us until Christmas and it popped a fuse the second time I used it- making mashed potatoes! I've used this Kitchen Aid mixer probably 20 times for various things and it's been able to power through every time! So glad I bought this, and will continue to use it after we buy a stand mixer.
