Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slightly Disappointed Love the look of this appliance and the speed of the induction feature. Wish the cooktop was textured as the pots slide around. Really dislike the touch controls and wish there were knobs. It is difficult to slide the controls with your finger and get the exact level desired and also this method of controlling the heat causes the cooktop to be constantly covered in fingerprints that are not that easy to remove. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient and fast, with one catches. We've had the new range for two months now. Mostly we love it, but it's not perfect. It's easy to keep clean, boils water faster than our gas range ever did, and is far more efficient. With the gas range, we boiled water for tea and had to use a pot holder to pick up the pan. Now we don't need a pot holder- the handle of the pan is barely warm. Also we can control the temperature more precisely. The one thing we didn't realize is that because the pan size has to match the heating element it causes constraints on what we can cook at a time. With gas, you have a big pan and the only available burner is small, or vice-versa, no problem. With induction in that case you have to wait until a right-sized burner is available. Also it's not easy to find induction-compatible saute pans with teflon lining. Stainless without teflon is just not as non-stick. The double ovens are fantastic! That's the reason we bought this model. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great range. Read if you saw a 1 star review. I gave this range a 4 star rather than a 5 star because it has one irritating design flaw that I will cover. See, the range was designed to have the cooktop keypad on the back panel but since they don't make many of these, they decided to just "drop in" the same cooktop that one would get if they purchased a KitchenAid induction cooktop. So with that, the controls are built into the cooktop. It robs room, mandates the placement of the large burner on the back, and can cause alarm if you spill water or put a cooking utensil on the controls. It will shut down the cooktop and start flashing. No worries. Just wipe up the spill or pick up the cookware and all is better. That being said, when the induction becomes more common, they will put the controls where they belong. Besides that, I love this range. The cooktop is wonderful, reacts to changes in power setting immediately, and is very precise. The ovens work great. One top tip. READ THE BOOK!! If you have any questions, KitchenAid has a number and chat available. To say that it makes no sense how to use, well, read the book!! Now, off to the one star reviews. -Some said the top oven burns the top of the pizza or cookies while leaving the bottom raw or froze. This is because the oven has two rack positions and I have money on them trying to use the broil position to bake. The oven works fine if you position the rack properly. -Another person stated the oven is too low. While yes, the large oven is lower than normal, I would like to think this was obvious when you went to purchase it. That's like buying a Corvette and then giving it a 1 star because it doesn't have a back seat. -Others have complained that the blower for the unit stays on too long after cooking and is too loud. For me, it's whisper quiet and with the electronics on this unit, it's understandable that you would have a cooling fan run for a while after it's used. -Popping or buzzing while using the cooktop. That's typical induction noises. Any induction will do that, even the small plates from Amazon. In fact, this range is quieter than my tabletop induction burner. -Having to preheat before using convection setting. There is one convection setting on this that requires it be done like that. It's in the book and is not a big challenge. Sounded to me like whining. -That's all, great range, I love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in love! My first induction cooktop, and it was a breeze to use, with really no learning curve, and it's super responsive. I am so glad I went with the double oven option! I've used both extensively over the last 4 weeks and love them. They take a while to reach temperature but they hold it steadily. Only slight challenge is that the cooktop surface is so shiny and slick, and the marks for the pan sizes are so subtle, it is easy to move a pan off the element while cooking, but that's not a deal-breaker. On the plus side it cools quickly and is easy to clean, so it's easy to wipe it down to remove the kitty paw-marks before cooking. ;-) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great appliance! I really like having two ovens, though still getting used to how to use each to its best benefit. The induction range is great; heats quickly and cools quickly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Features Never thought I would need a double oven however I really like that feature . Use the upper small oven a lot and convection feature on the lower. So well insulated the fan feature to cool off seems to run a long time but opening the oven door cuts the time considerably. Easy to use . (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
