Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with the unit overall! Heats quickly and evenly. Boils a pot of warm water in 4 mins. Love that I don't have to worry about scalding hot cooktop surfaces. There are a couple of annoying things.....I dislike that the alarm goes off every time a pot or a pan is removed from the cooktop. Beep! I wish there was a way to turn off the alarm. Also, when heating on high, there is an electric buzzing that comes off the cooktop. Szzzsszszzssss!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Improvement over regular electric [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this cook top a few weeks ago. I just recently moved here and it had a newer electric range. I am used to a gas range. I am loving this new induction range. It isn't gas, so I'm still learning how to use it best. I love the fast boil feature. I use that in conjunction with my instant hot water tap to get water to boil quickly. Much faster than a microwave. I like best that it doesn't get hot like my gas range used to. It is much easier to cook with that way. I need to learn the settings and different burners to be more efficient. I think in the end I will likely say I like this better than gas. For now. I'm still evaluating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is fantastic. So many features. I am new to induction cooking and I am so delighted that I purchased this. Easy to use and best of all easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heats rapidly. Challenge anyone to a water boiling race! Flat surface allows one to keep pans on cooktop but out of the way. Easy to keep clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Cooktop! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooks like gas (i.e., immediate/direct temperature control), but the clean up is so quick and easy it almost makes us feel guilty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We LOVE this cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to spend a little extra and get the induction cooktop and could not be happier with our decision. It is very responsive to even the least little adjustment on the very easy to use button. Would do it again with no hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love my new cooktop which replaces a high end electric cooktop. I switched to electric when I had children 20 years ago because gas made me nervous and I never switched back. Finally with induction I get the feel of cooking with gas but don’t need to run gas lines to our new kitchen. It was a little confusing getting all the features and I’m still getting use to not being to take the pan off the burner and have the burner stay on

Does this cooktop have the brackets included in the box? If so, what is their purpose as most cooktops can just be placed into the countertop opening and their weight holds them in place.
Asked by: ThomR
ThomR, the brackets are to mount the cooktop to a marble countertop. They are not included with the cooktop.

No size restrictions to activate burners?

Just to confirm, any pan that a magnet will stick to (no matter it's size) will work on ANY of the burners? Also, if water drips or spills on the control panel will the cooktop shut down?
Asked by: thehaymakerswife
Small water droplets don't seem to stop the functioning. Slightly undersize pots/pans work as well - not sure if they are inefficient though. Some stainless steel pots/pans that are non-magnetic will still work, if their base is magnetic

Is this a true bridge on either side, meaning is there a separate burner that fills in around the two round burners or is the heat generated from the two round burners expected to fill the gap.
Asked by: Codysmom
Hello Codysmom! This is a separate burner that fills. There is instructions in the Use and Care Guide on how to turn the Bridge area on. Thank you for your inquiry on our KitchenAid appliances.
