The KNIPEX Ratchet Cable Cutter for cut up to 500 MCM copper and aluminum single conductors as well as multiple stranded cables. Not suitable for steel wire and wire ropes. Precision ground, hardened blades provides a clean and smooth cut without crushing and deformation. 1-handed operation using the ratchet principle. Little hand force required due to very high transmission ratio. 2-stage ratchet drive for easy cutting. Simple handling as a result of low weight and compact design can be used even in confined areas. Made of high-grade special tools steel, forged and oil-hardened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used Klein and south wire cutters and these are by far the most comfortable ratchet cutter... I have used Klein and south wire cutters and these are by far the most comfortable ratchet cutters I’ve used. I cut up to 500 mcm and they cut with little effort.
