Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect recessed medicine cabinet measuring 20x26 Shopped all over the Internet and this recessed medicine cabinet was perfect, affordable and great looking for my size and budget. My only complain is the holes that were predrilled to anchor on the wood studs were too far forwards. When I went to anchor in the screw they missed the studs. Had to drill 4 new holes so I can anchor the cabinet to the studs. Not a big deal for someone who is handy. Would definitely recommend all to buy. One side note, if you're going to place the cabinet in the wall, you're better off taking the door off. A lot easier to work with.

Then I ordered this one from their webpage (free shipping too!) THIS CABINET, THOUGH TWICE AS EXPENSIVE, IS WORTH EVERY SINGLY PENNY It is a beautiful piece, not just a medicine cabinet. I highly recommend putting more quality cabinets on the floor for display. Most people spending the time to install things in their home know they will only do it one time. They don't mind spending extra money to make it nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful cabinet We installed this cabinet ourselves which was a little tricky - the cabinet is a little wider than the standard space between studs. But I wanted the storage space and loved this design. My husband cut a space in the stud (non-load bearing wall) and framed around the mirror. This worked fine. This cabinet is very attractive and expensive looking and has tons of space. My only quibble is the little plastic pieces you put in the unused shelf brace holes don't fit quite snugly so they sometimes fall out. Overall though, this is a great looking and highly functional cabinet.

The lightly mirrored sides, the inside mirrors, the glass shelves--nothing I don't dislike! For easier 1-person installation my husband removed the mirrored door before putting on the wall.

Nice looking medicine cabinet, we surface mounted it as we have pipes behind the wall and even if not, it would not of been centered over the vanity where the studs were located. I like the stick on mirrors for the sides to hide the metal edges, and it has a mirror behind the glass shelves and on the inside of the door. The glass shelves are nice and thick. The oil rubbed bronze frame looks great with our other oil rubbed bronze fixtures. I highly recommend this high quality medicine cabinet. It looks beautiful and appears to be well made. I took some pics but did not take one straight on as I did not want to be in the picture. :-) Only complaint I have it is took UPS 6 days to deliver after shipping and it was shipped from CA to CA, but I am sure that had to do with the fact that it was shipped during the holiday season.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional These recessed cabinets were exactly what I was looking for when doing a bathroom remodel. They are a good size, functional, and very attractive! I also like that there are mirrors on the inside as well. My contractor did not mention any complaints on the install. My only concern is how well the finish will hold up over time...and that they don't look exactly the same finish-wise (I ordered 2). However, that is probably only noticeable to me. Overall, a great product from a trusted brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very high quality, very nice cabinet Heavy duty, quality all the way. Installation can be a touch tricky if your studs are not quite where they need to be. Aluminum brackets (separate purchase) can help with that. In-wall will require additional bracing and supports, so be mindful of that.

Is this mirror supposed to have a magnetic closure?

No, the cabinet does not have a magnetic closure nor does it need it. It has two Mepla ACC 180 self-closing cabinet hinges which have performed flawlessly for me. If you let go of the door at any point around or less than six inches from closed, it will close by itself and stay closed. My cabinet was installed by my builder who is a perfectionist so I cannot say how easy or hard it was to install. This cabinet, so far, has been a real pleasure to own. It works well and looks good. We surfaced mounted the cabinet and installed all of the mirrors.

I'd like to install 3 of these right next to each other over a twin vanity to be able to use as a 2-way mirror. Is there a way to install them next to each other? I imagine they could not be recessed, but might there be a way?
