Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would order the same model again We LOVE our new LARGE sink. It was easy to install, although the template is for various models. The cut out for the sink, also allows for the hole(s). So it's best to brace the sink with spare lumber so it doesn't shift over time. As is typical with plumbing, there was no diameter given so I ASSUMED that it was a standard size for any single hold faucet; not so. Ordering online didn't provide that information so the installation of the faucet was complicated because the exterior diameter of the gasket was the same size the diameter of the hole. We're hoping to renovate our home for an additional bath and would be glad to use the same products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Attractive, Well Made, Functional Kohler Bathroom Sinks We purchased two Kohler Archer white sinks for our master bath to replace 2 "blue" Kohler sinks that were installed in the 70's (seemed like a good idea at the time). We picked them up at Home Depot and found them to be well packaged and undamaged. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the old sinks that were really glued in tight. We needed large sinks because the old sinks were large with large cutouts. Luckily, the Archer sinks fit perfectly in the existing holes and we didn't have to cut the countertop. The new faucets we purchased were not hindered by the raised rim. These sinks and faucets really updated our master bath, even with the existing off-white laminate countertop. We donated our old "blue" Kohler sinks to Habitat for Humanity where we were told they'd be sold within a few days because they were stamped Kohler and were still in excellent condition after 37 years.

I cut out the shell shaped sink of my old marble vanity and dropped this beautiful sink in place. It is clean cut and the single hole faucet is just what I needed. The basin is deep enough to prevent splattering and the slightly raised edge keeps the water in the sink. Great buy!!

The sinks are very attractive looking with square sides and rounded front. Perfect for my new updated bathroom. The install was very easy. I built the counter tops of Walnut so the cutout template provided was very helpful and made life simple. I purchased the single faucet hole but also comes in the 4" and 8" wide set. Would recommend these to anyone with a bathroom.

No problem, we'll just get another and they did. All in record time. Instructions clear, cutting hole clear, sealing clear and mounting clear. In a reasonable time, by an un profesional, 70 years old , I claimed success in first time installing. Now the moment of truth, it worked great, looked great and felt great.......Oooopppssss, no one told me how difficult dark grey would be to keep shining. Oh well, it's very attractive, holds major kinds of water and the single faucet with old pump kind of spout is a killer ! I am very happy and quite pleased with my purchase. Would and will choose this again when the need ever comes up.......

Replacing oval cast iron sink that has a 19"x16.5" cutout.....

.......... Will this Archer unit fit as is or will addition material need to be removed from countertop? Is a template provided for cutout? Is drain included? Can you recommend a Kohler unit that is oval, 4"spacing, and in Almond?

A template is supposed to be provided with the sink. I have not unpacked mine yet, so I am not sure. You can get usually get technical specifications from the manufacturers sites, or even on the HD listing. No additional materials are supplied. I can't really recommend any other unit as I have not installed any other sinks recently, but I don't remember having problems with any sink ever. They are what they are. When I do have problems it is usually elsewhere.
