The pedestal lines are graceful and though a little higher than the cabinet sink I replaced, a joy to use. The matching sink has a beautiful rectangular pattern inside the sink to match the overall shape. The installation instructions were simple to follow. My only caution is to be prepared to work in small spaces. Making my existing drain system work with the new one required some extra connectors and working in the narrow confines of the pedestal required flexibility and a little patience.

Easy installation, BUT do not install the faucet before placing on the pedestal as the instructions say and as I did, because they block the access to the holes for mounting the sink to the wall. It would have been a breeze except for the fact that I had to remove the faucet to mount the sink and reinstall again from underneath.

Is the base of this pedestal hollow...ie) I have the waste pipe exiting thru the floor, not the wall. I need a hollow, wrap around pedestal. Some I've seen have a solid base or just a hole but not large enough for my pipe.

The 2357-96 is the Archer pedestal and its is paired with the lav of 2358-8-96 to recreate the 2359-8-96. The total height from finish floor to top of lav is 35 1/4.
