We replaced our pink colored toilet with white and bought this sink to replace the matching pink sink. The hardest part was removing the old sink! This one dropped right in and looks great. We weren't going with anything fancy or expensive but wanted it to look nice and this fit the bill perfectly. My husband installed this with my help and believe me we are amateurs! It has been installed about 3 weeks now and we haven't had any problem with staining and haven't had to clean it yet other than just wiping it down with a damp cloth. Would definitely recommend this sink.

Sinks come in many different colors so if you're not sure from the picture, just go to your local HD and ask them for a sample of the sink colors. They have them. Some even have most of them on display. That made it so much easier to match the vanity top. Be sure to install your faucet first - makes it much easier than climbing into the vanity. This has a nice deep bowl but the rim doesn't take up too much vanity space. I bought two since I had a dual vanity top. They look great. I would recommend this to anyone.

However, upon installing one of the two sinks we found a huge problem. The drain is malformed from the factory and cannot be installed without allowing leakage from the pipes. The malformation is slight; however, it should have been caught at the factory by inspectors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kohler Brookline Sink It's perfect for a drop-in replacement of an old enameled steel sink. It will fit into a circular cutout hole as small as 15 inches (something not clear on the Home Depot or Kohler Spec sheets). The finish is good and it is real porclein china.

Nice and deep so water doesn't splash and with the high arc faucet I got there's plenty of room for hands and everything else. I had a professional install it so I don't know if installation was easy, but he didn't seem to have any problems and it looks great!

Hard to believe they cannot make a sink that is not warped or is free of defects in the finish. A couple had what looked like air bubbles that were in finish. Very poor quality control and disappointing overall quality in my opinion for for a Kohler . A nice looking sink.

The sink I purchased was a replacement. If I could have found a sink with the same bowl size that would fit in the hole cut in the granite, I would have purchased that rather than another of this sink.

what is cutout size kohler k2202-4-47

In the *five years* since the original question was asked, *no one* has given a direct answer. Helpful KOHLER Customer Service tells us to use the template provided with the unit (when it's already been purchased). Helpful Hank tells us to 1. go find his previous post, which tells us to 2. locate and download the .dxf template from the KOHLER website, and then 3. convert the .dxf file to something readable...but then never gives us the cutout dimensions. The HomeDepot page tells us that this sink with an "Inner bowl front to back length" of 12 inches and an "Inner bowl side to side width" of 14 inches is supposed to drop into a countertop cutout with a "Front to Back Width" of 4 inches and a "Left to Right Length" of 12 inches...does anyone see any problems with these dimensions?
