Rated 2 out of 5 by from Getting frustrated All the fixtures in our home are Kohler. All top notch products. We have the this toilet seat in all three of our bathrooms. The seat is a very nice design and works real well but they have only lasted for just over a year. We have replaced all of them at least once and now have to replace another one. The bottom rim part always breaks but even though I'm not happy with having to buy new seats all the time it looks so good and works great so we keep on replacing them. Contacted Kohler customer service and never get a response so not pleased about that issue either.

Found these light grey soft closing seats at Home Depot online for about $54.00 each delivered free to my house. Great service! Arrived promptly. We were very happy with it, looked great, worked smoothly. Decided a while later to replace the other two seats. Now the prices were way up, about $80.00 each. Bought two anyway. about 2 years ago roughly. Recently the seat part of one of them cracked right in half on one side. Not impressed!!!! A butt pincher! Just bought another one to replace it, cost me all in about $97.00 Now I see the price has gone up again, they are now $126.00 each. WHAT!!! Aside from the outrageous new prices, the quality is still very good, or at least I used to think so. Now, I have to wonder. Should a toilet seat that costs an arm and a leg break after two years?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If a toilet seat can be lovely..... this is it.. So delighted to find a Kohler toilet seat the exact colour of our other fixtures we installed 20 years ago. The finish on the seat is just lovely and if you are hesitant about spending extra on a soft close seat - do it! It's worth it. The family will close the seat more often and no one has to hear the plastic slam noise of a regular seat.
