Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Product Design As mentioned by many others, my spout became loose and came-off. It is only held-in-place with a rubber O ring. There is no indentation on the barrel of the spout to hold the O ring in-place. There is no way to repair or replace the spout. Kohler Customer Service indicated that I could purchase a replacement cartridge but it contains the same design flaw. Based on reviews from this and other retailers this is a common problem with this unit. Customers that purchase a replacement have the same issue. I chose to purchase only Kohler products for my Kitchen and Master Bath remodels completed last year. The other products appear to be more robust. I think Kohler could do better in the manner in which they are dealing (or not) with this issue. I am very disappointed. I am left to find a coordinating unit from another manufacturer. This time, I will make the effort to review all customer ratings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from KOHLER K-1895-C-CP Soap Dispenser Dependable for 3 years I added a plastic hose and could pull Dawn out of a 1 gallon jug under the sink. Amazing. Then today, i went to use it and the spout just fell off. After rinsing it for many minutes, i now see that i can reinsert it, i will see if this last. I came to this website thinking it may have a lifetime warranty like the faucet. Only one year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasted 10 years First one lasted 10 years, with heavy use from family of 5. :: Pros: Sturdy, easy to clean, dispenses the right amount of soap, replacement bottle available at a reasonable price. :: Con: Refilling it. To refill from top carries risk of overflow because I can't see the soap level. To refill from the bottom requires an advanced limbo position where I shimmy into my cupboard on my back, reach up, and unscrew the bottle. Then I do it again to install the full bottle. Weakest part seems to be the plastic bottle. Once had soap oozing from my cupboard due to a broken bottle, so now I keep a small bucket in my cupboard to catch the drips.

It is very bad, the nozzle fell off from the unit very easily, because the nozzle is glued to the unit instead of being welded to the unit. I've tried this unit 3 different times and each time after about 1 month of use, the soap started to leak, then the nozzle fell off, and I have to return them all to Home Depot. I hope Kohler will stop selling this product until they fix the problem before putting them back on the market for sale.

I bought two of these in early 2017, and a year or so later (out of warranty), the spigots came out, but could be shoved back in. Now, in early 2020, one has failed irreparably; the spigot won't stay in, and the product has failed. WHAT WERE THE ENGINEERS THINKING?? The spigots are held in with an o-ring and a spot of glue. Doomed to failure, and sure enough, they did. The Kohler name used to mean a lot to me, but there's now no point in spending extra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, modern look; great finish, large capacity! What can you say about a soap dispenser? Well, first off, I ordered this to match my Kohler FORTE faucet and it's perfect! Works well, has a very large capacity for soap - should be a long time before I need to refill it. Brushed stainless finish prevents fingerprints and it doesn't spit out more soap than you need in one pump. Overall VERY pleased with this product!

Can it be filled from the top?

Can you remove the pump from the top to fill the bottle, or do you have to crawl under the sink and remove the bottle in order to fill it?

What kind of detergen I shoud fill? Do I need to mix it with water?

We use soft soap in ours for hand washing. We’ve also used dawn or similar dishwashing soap in it. Neither of theses soaps need to be mixed/diluted. In fact, I think doing so would cause more problems.

What is the difference between Vibrant Stainless and Classic Stainless?
