Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wondering if it's worth the Kohler brand... No doubt the faucet looks good but I am wondering if it's worth the Kohler brand. It took me several attempts (and hours) to get the faucet's drain to stop leaking (from under the bathroom sink). Instructions should mention that using silicon will help facilitate the drain to prevent leaks and helps the gasket to be properly installed (into the drain(. I also got rid of the Kohler flat (black) gasket and used a generic one. The one provided by Kohler was useless for my new sink. The water jet/spray just doesn't come out properly from the faucet and it's day one, I anticipate how it will look in one year from now. Bit disappointed I have to admit, I was expecting more from the Kohler brand.

It matched the other fixtures in finish even though it's a different brand. I gave it 4 stars because its odd that the hot and cold seem reversed, and the stream hits the plug and splashes. But if thats all, I can live with it. Didnt use the bottom plate which makes it look even more elegant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed and dissatisfied I wish I'd read the reviews before my spontaneous purchase of this Kohler Cursiva single-handed bathroom faucet. I LOVE the look but it just doesn’t do the job it’s supposed to do. Sometimes the water coming out is split into 2 or more streams and, even when it’s just one stream, it still spits and bounces off the sink or out of a glass. I’ve tried keeping the pressure lower but truthfully it makes little difference. Previous reviews (and a search on the interest) suggest the aerator needs to be cleaned. OK. But, the small allen key provided does not release the aerator. Now what? I find it hard to believe that so many people get dirt in the lines while installing and need to clean the aerator before use. It has to have left the factory dirty. Other links on the internet suggest it is a faulty water restrictor problem. Either way, I am dissatisfied with the product. I wish I’d bought the much cheaper Glacier Bay faucet I’d researched and went into the store to buy in the first place. I am not looking forward to the work of removing this tap and drain but that's what is going to happen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great faucet, poor finish on drain plunger I love the faucet itself, it has a beautiful design and finish and was easy to install. The handle works smoothly and has a high quality "feel" to it, and it's location makes it easy to turn the water on and off without splashing water all over the faucet and counter. Also, the faucet does not reach far out over the sink basin, so you can wash your face without bumping your head on it. I would easily give it a 5 star rating except for one problem: the drain plunger. It is also very attractive and easy to install, but after less than six months the paint has started to chip off it's surface exposing the metal underneath (see photo). I have not yet notified Kohler about the problem, and they may very well replace the plunger part (it just pulls out easily), but the fact that it is chipping in such a short time with normal cleaning and use indicates a poor quality finish on that part. I should say that the finish on the tap itself (matte black) seems to be of a high quality and I do not expect it to fail. Otherwise this is an excellent faucet and if you can install it without the plunger I would highly recommend it.
