Can this be used with the American Standard laminate shower panels?

The specifications are not clear to me. In one spot it says it's 61-7/8 in. L x 17-3/8 in. W and in another it lists the measurements as SPECIFICATIONS Assembled Depth (in.) 17.375 in Assembled Height (in.) 61.875 in Assembled Width (in.) 5.125 in Manufacturer Warranty One-Year Limited Warranty Product Length (in.) 17.375 in Product Weight (lb.) 21 lb Product Width (in.) 5.125 in I assume it's 5.125 even though it also says 17.375. And what is it made of as it doesn't say? At 21 pounds, is it porcelain?

can this unit be installed over ceramic panels? what mastic to use?

What does 17" deep mean - can't possibly extend 17" into the wall. Height & width make sense.
