Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, quality sink! My husband and I installed this sink in our kitchen two weeks ago and we love it. Installation was relatively simple. The quality appears to be very nice. I like the self-rimming feature. We also purchased the KOHLER1-1/2 in. Sink-Hole Cover in White (fits perfectly and the color is a precise match) and the KOHLER Duostrainer 4 in. Sink Strainer in Polished Chrome (easy to install, looks great, great quality). It was delivered faster than I expected. I'd buy this sink again. Will definitely use a sink mat/rack to protect the enamel and wipe down frequently to protect from future staining, not that we've had any problems so far, we just intend for it to last a long time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really love the look of this sink, however I'm... I really love the look of this sink, however I'm slightly disappointed in quality & the installation guide. The installation cutout guide is actually for 3 different sinks, and makes the area needed for the Mayfield sink seem MUCH bigger than it actually needs to be. In my case, it made it look like the sink wouldn't fit the cabinet despite having just removed a sink the same size from that cabinet. Additionally, during the installation process somehow the contractor scratched the edge rather deeply. Though it isn't Kohler's fault the sink is scratched, I'm worried about how the sink will hold up if just installing the sink led to it being scratched.

The sink arrived quickly but with large cracks and chips...luckily, I looked at it while it was still on the UPS truck and refused delivery..the shipping (cardboard) box was in poor condition, the box had been opened at some point and taped back with a piece of clear tape....the box was not even closed all of the way on top.....the sink had zero packing material on top for protection during shipment...I did read many similar complaints online before ordering but I took a chance hoping my sink would arrive in good condition...I now have to return the Kohler faucet that I was planning to use with this sink and start my search all over again for a sink.....so disappointed...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Second time wasn't a charm Even though the sample I got was white and Kohler said the sink should be paper white, the sink is not true bright white. I sent one back and still got one that wasn't quite what I wanted. There are pictures of a white sink by other customers and then reviews like this one that said the sink isn't quite white. However, stainless would be my only other option and that would be worst.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sink for the price Since this is a cast iron sink, it weighs in at 79 lbs (as shipped). Keep that in mind as you plan your counter tops. Also, be sure to use a lot of plumbers putty to seal the drain. Aside from those two minor issues, my mom loves her new sink!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The sink is what I wanted but it keeps coming... The sink is what I wanted but it keeps coming with defects and imperfections. I had to send it back and get a replacement. The new sink has an issue as well but I didn't notice it until after it was installed. Now I am in a twix about sending this one back because Ive been dealing with this since April. Very disappointed in the manufacturers quality inspection department. It needs great improvement. This sink is other wise, top quality and it will last for decades if manufactured properly.
