The sink is absolutely beautiful, the only concern is that the quality is not there, I had it for some years and after sometime it started to show some crackling all over and for what I read, I wasn't the only one and it became horrible looking, I always took good care of it never mistreated it. Thank god Kohler is a reputable company, stood by their product and decided to replace it. I only hope it doesn't crack again, their products are supposed to last forever or so I thought so. I love the look of memoirs line. Home Depot was great helping me with the order. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but..... This sink (and accompanying pedestal) was easy to install for a pedestal, and looks great. I love the 'counter' space around the sink part, and the sink itself is pretty large. The only problem has been that the area around the drain is not glazed. It is only about an eighth of an inch, so perhaps a larger drain ring is recommended. The water also pools around the drain (again, minor). We used an American Standard faucet with it. Firm wall anchoring is highly recommended, or the sink will wobble.

While the style on this sink is great for my craftsman home, it has not held up well. It is full of chips and cracks after a few years of use. I have a small medicine cabinet above the sink. Sure, sometimes we drop things, but the hardest thing we've dropped is a bottle of fingernail polish. There are chips and cracks all over the sink. Be sure to return the sink to Kohler before the one year warrantee is up if you get the slightest crack.

In the end, it had hairline cracks all over the sink. We like the look and functionality of the sink therefore we ordered exactly same sink to replace the old one. The new one looks pretty and shiny "now".

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look, but Quality Control, not great. I ordered this sink as a replacement for the same one that had developed cracks around the drain. After attaching all the hardware, the drain wouldn’t sit flush with the bottom of the sink bowl, creating a gap that plumbers putty couldn’t fill. It leaked. And, the front of the sink was concave, indicating it was deformed during the cooling phase after it was fired. Kohler was great and sent a second at no cost. I was able to successfully install the second one, but had to drill out the two holes in the sink itself where the hanger bolts go through to the wall as the holes in the sink were centered at 19 1/4” instead of 19” (which the hanger bolts are set to and which the 2 previous sinks fit perfectly). Pain in the neck, and not good marks for Kohler’s quality control (the first replacement sink should have never left the factory). Customer Service was excellent, and now that it is finally installed and leak free, I love the sink.

I contacted Kohler and they told me there is one Memoirs base for the different size basins. I had a 27 inch basin on the base before I replaced it with the new 24 inch basin. You may have to adjust how far out the pedestal sits from the wall if you’re downsizing.

What is the difference between K-2268-8-33 and K-2239-8-33 with K-2267-33

Thank you for your inquiry. The K-2268-8-33 is a 30" wide pedestal lavatory (includes lav basin and pedestal), while the K-2239-8-33 is a 24" wide pedestal lav basin that combines with the K-2267-33 pedestal to give you the complete 24" ped lav. unit which is model K-2238-8-33.
