Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great, poor design I had two of these put in a month ago. They look beautiful, but the faucet handles and the way they attach to the plumbing leave a lot to be desired. The thread for attaching the handle will not square up with the plate and the faucet handle at the same time. If you adjust it to line up, it just keeps working it’s way loose and eventually the whole plate is sliding around. It is just really annoying. I am about ready to just go purchase a universal faucet fixture to use with the Kohler valve we had to install for this fixture to work. Quite disappointed…something cheaper would probably have gone in a lot easier. Oh, well.

Can a Kohler Slidebar with handheld shower head be added using this diverter valve?

K-R26586-4G is not a diverter valve, this trim comes with a Rite-Temp valve which will turn the water on/off and hot/cold. Can this be used for a shower alone, without using the tub spout?
