Once the old faucet was removed the installation took less than 30 minutes. A notable feature is the sprayer pattern which sprays the water in a flat line, similar to an oscillating sprinkler. I find this pattern to be much more useful than a circle pattern, as more of an area can be covered at once. The sprayer selection button is easy to use and located on the back. This faucet is made in China.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Actual Size I just received this the other day and noticed that the size measured on the photo with dimensions is not the actual size of the faucet. The photo with dimensions says 23.5 inches, however the actual size is around 18 inches from countertop to highest point in the faucet. The extra 5.5 missing inches is what is hidden underneath the counter. I thought 23.5 inches would have been too tall but I decided to try it out and see. I'm actually happy that it ended up being less tall so it worked out in the end. I'm just leaving this review because if I had known it was actually 18 inches tall, I would not have hesitated to buy it as it is a much more reasonable size. Home depot must have made a mistake by measuring the height from the hidden portion underneath the counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This faucet was easy to install with simple-to-follow instructions. The long handled wrench was key for removal of old faucet. I ended up calling Kohler to double check whether I needed to use any plumbing compound or plumber's tape. They were very responsive and helpful, and confirmed that I didn't need any of those things. The only minor complain is that the spray nosel doesn't retract easily and needs some manual assistance. I'll play with the weight on the hose underneath the sink to see if it helps.

And Kohler is uncomparably better materials, look, metal quality. Love it. BUT! The pull -down head does not retrack back properly. There is a very weak tiny magnet that doesnt hold the head. I have to push hart to put it back to its position and It is constantly drops out(( If there is a way to replace the magnet to make this faucet flawless?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this kitchen faucet for a rental that I am putting in a new kitchen. As soon as I opened the box and took out the faucet, I quickly changed my mind. I want this faucet in my house! Kohler knocked it out of the park with the design. I love the squared edges of the faucet - really modern and eye catching. I have a mid century modern home and this faucet will look awesome. Everything, well almost everything, screams quality. The faucet is solid brass with quality connections. The pull down spray head is a nice size and pulls out easily and snaps back into place. The only thing is when you squeeze on the pull out spray it sounds like there is plastic in the head. I am not overly concerned because Kohler rocks in the warranty replacement parts - why I buy their products for all my rentals. Now my hubby is mad at me because I just doubled his work load. He has to uninstall the Kohler Simplace I have at my house and install this beauty. Once done, he gets to install our old faucet at our rental. The faucet was shipped quickly and packaged impeccably - highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a snap no need to call a plumber. The new quick connect makes the job easier. Once you have it installed you will see that they incorporated everything you like about a pull down faucet into this Koehler product. First of all they use a magent to dock the sprayer. No more making sure you push the sprayer into its dock. It slips in and the magnets keep it docked until you use it again. Second of all the spray pattern cuts down on the splash you usually get from the old type of faucets. And thirdly the arch is real high so you can still get water for your coffee in the morning if you didn’t do the dishes from the day before (yes this does happen). They also throw in a matching soap pump dispenser. Don’t forget this faucet is returnable in 90 days but I am certain you will love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well built, but one weakness I bought this to replace a faucet with a plastic cartridge when that failed (I think it was a Delta). The ceramic cartridge seems much more reliable :-) Everything works very smoothly-the handle, the faucet head, the spray function. Like another review below; there is a weakness--the magnetic latch that holds the faucet head into the faucet neck failed after about two and a half years. To their credit, Kohler replaced it without much fuss.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to reinsert pull down This looks amazing but we found it very difficult to reinsert the pull out nozzle. It almost required using two hands. Otherwise it put a lot of pressure on the curved section of the faucet which was not particularly secure and flexed a lot. We ended up getting the Kohler Rubicon instead. It’s more solid and pulls out

We have finished installing our new Kohler Rune faucet and all works well expect it appears there is no magnet docking as advertised. Is there something additional that needs purchased to make it magnetic?

I was just about to install this faucet and found there is no apparent magnetic connection either. In fact the replacement of the head appears to be a poor press fit into the receiver. What a waste of time. I going back to the store to return. Closing the last 1/8 inch of space is hard to do. Thank you Kholer for wasting my time with false statements on your packaging!

Despite several other responders claiming that the pull down sprayer is made of metal, it is actually plastic. The plastic is made to look the same as the metal on the rest of the faucet, however, I was still disappointed to find that a faucet at this price range has plastic as a major component.

The hose will extend approx. 10" from the spout at maximum, depending on your installation and how you place the weight on the hose under the sink. This will extend the face of the spray head about 2" below the top of the sink. The spout arch extends another 9" out from the center hole. It will be close. If you need the hose to extend all the way to the front corner of the sink, you may need a much bigger faucet with a larger high-arch spout. Kohler makes some great ones, but expect to pay twice the price.

Just installed the new Rune faucet a few days ago and family loves it! However, the connection joint that allows the spout to swivel or turn from the base is not tight and the upper portion of the faucet arm stays loose. There appears to be a plastic washer/fitting with a release hole connecting the upper and lower faucet to allow it to turn. Is it possible to tighten the spout so it does not wobble? Very frustrating when trying to reconnect sprayer. Love Kohler brand but this is really unacceptable.
