[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very easy to install, it is a drop in replacement for the existing faucet. You can turn the faucet on and off with the lever, as you could any faucet. Where this differs is that once it is turned to the on position you can wave you hand under it to temporarily turn it on and off. This is perfect for times when your hands are dirty or you are in the middle of a baking project. The faucet looks modern, but fits in with even the most traditional kitchens. A really quick install that completely updated the look and feel of the kitchen sink. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am pleased with my new faucet. It is... I am pleased with my new faucet. It is the first touchless one that I have owned, and it works very well. The plumber who installed it said they are a pain if you only have the battery pack, because the batteries can be awkward to change. It's only been a couple of weeks, so I don't know about that. I would have purchased the optional plug in accessory, but I already have an insta-hot and garbage disposal plugged in under my sink - as well as the dishwasher. No room for more plugs. I've really appreciated the convenience of being able to be able to turn on the water with messy hands without having to touch (and then clean) the faucet. Wish I had gotten this years ago!

The new Kohler Setra is much more responsive faucet than previousLet owned Kohler motion faucets. The chrome finish is blinding, just as a higher-end Kohler chrome finish should be. I recommend this faucet Kohler Setra if in your budget.

Beautiful and functional. You can't help but be proud of this kitchen necessity. The machining or the parts is second to none. The polish on the chrome finish is absolutely gorgeous. Touch free faucet not only is convenient, its sanitary too. I’ve installed many types of touchless faucets at work and in home(s). My main reason is people young and old, forget to turn them off. If you ask, they also tell you they don’t like touching things in public bathrooms. The idea of sanitary use can be extended into the kitchen. Imagine prepping chicken or other food items. Cross contamination can be lessened or eliminated. When I have hands covered in dough, sauces, etc., all I do is approach the faucet and it returns to the last setting I had at full stream. The counterweight attached under the sink to the pull-out hose does a fantastic job reeling in the hose after a quick spray. The push button on the nozzle changes it from normal stream to power spray. It limits the water flow to 1.5 gallons per minute (great for water conservation). I really like the ceramic valve guts. Just like my hot tub pumps, it extends its life and works trouble free. Even a novice can install this with a few tools. If you can remove the sink, it’s the easier to install, but can be done from under the cabinet. If you are limber its easy to install with the sink in place. I prefer to remove the sink, add the faucet and reinstall the sink. I know it seems like a lot of extra work, but, for me this is easier. Only bad thing about changing this was removing my great manual Kohler faucet. (I’m sure to find a home for it as it is built to last). If desired, the battery powered box can be swapped for a plug-in adapter (AC powered) or removed totally for traditional manual operation. The soap/lotion dispenser is a tad cheap but looks nice with its chromed plastic body. Not a deal breaker. It is easy to refill from the top of the sink just by removing the pump.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mistake I bought thi faucet in Jan 2020. the wave motion to turn off and on dries me crazy. The wave feature turns he water off and on so easily. so we turned that off. The hot and cold sides whistle when turned on. the pull down spout leaks all around the black thing to turn it from spray to solid water. Now the hot water shuts off when being used. I can't even fill the sink to wash dishes. I want a new faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no water pressure as much as the kholer Setra looks good, as much as it is a bad bad product, and kholer never mentioned the defective product. I have been dealing with this issue like hundreds of consumers with the same issue: just this faucet is defective and has no water pressure, zero. I bought a head spray and a new hose, and the problem remains the same. I am taking this faucet back to home depot, I am done with kholer and home depot, they do not look at the quality of products they sell anymore

The sensor is a little sensitive and will activate if exposed to steam ex. Pouring out hot water from pasta. When using the sprayer it's important to have the water pressure turned down or water sprays all over the counter. Kohler should incorporate a touchless soap dispenser with this unit.

We don’t like the electronic hands free sensor.It is were somewhere closer to the actual flow of water, it would make more sense. It has been very frustrating to use as you have to wave your hand way up under the top of the faucet. We actually turned it off.

Sensor stopped working

The first couple of weeks this faucet worked fine. Now it only works manually. Changed the batteries etc. Any suggestions to getting the touch sensor to work again?

If the valve box does not flash when you first connect wire it is either batterys or bad valve box. .If the valve box does flash it is probably the sensor on faucet
