The Stages sink comes with a full array of integrated accessories to simplify the cooking and cleanup processes. The design offers a wide basin to accommodate large pots and pans, as well as a stepped side platform for prepping food or drying dishes. Handcrafted from premium quality, 16-gauge stainless steel, Stages features an engineered sound-absorption system that significantly reduces disposal and dishwashing noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in love with my sink When I first told others that the sink was 45 inches, I recieved a negative response, "that's too big." After the install, it could not be further than the truth. The sink is more functional than any sink I've ever used. The prep area is extremely useful and its new and nice to have a place to do messy prep. The sink hole is off to the side, which allows room for dirty dishes without loosing any functional areas. All the accessories, are above and beyond expectation and you will soon find your own creative ways to use them. If your need a sink, don't miss out on this gem. It is the one functional piece that you will truly appriciate on a daily basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Stunning and Essential for Kitchen Love I purchased this a few months ago and absolutely love it. It is wonderful to have such a large deep sink, as well as to have that little stage area off to the side. My favorite however are all the extras this comes with. A custom fit bottom rack to protect the sinks surface, a huge thick dark wood cutting board that can be used on top of the sink or on your counter surface. You get a utility type tray that sits on the sink and can be placed anywhere - this comes in handy to place utensils so they won't scratch or fall down the disposal. The larger utility tray is great to hold vegetables or other items needed when creating meals. Keeps the mess and clutter off your countertops, no more dripping all over after cleaining veggies, everything can be done in one place and even sorted into the little ceramic dishes they provide. With these you can go directly from freshly prepared at the sink to serving at your dining table with elegance!! I polished the sink before using it and find that the water basically beads itself up...I simply towel dry occasssionally so that water spots don't form.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features!! I LOVE this sink!! The size is fantastic for serious chefs and the built in drain board is great for preparing meats, chicken and fish. I use the drop in cutting board multiple times a day, even to make a sandwich. The sink is great for quick clean up. I only wish it came in other materials. I like the stainless steel but my OCD does not like showing scratches.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous sink, bowls don't fit in the tray Gorgeous, gorgeous sink! Versatile, well-made, roomy, smart. I'm not sure who uses the drying rack that attaches itself at the bottom of the shallow end of the sink (and which comes with the sink) but I'm not. Had to shave off the metal hooks. Wish there was a way to make that optional. Only problem I have (and why I didn't give it a 5-star) is that the 6 utility bowls that come with the sink do not fit in the tray they're supposed to fit into perfectly. With such a gorgeous sink, it's a shame not to be able to utilize this bonus feature. Contacted Kohler about this and waiting to see how they handle it.

If your kitchen is actually used (and not just a show piece) you will never regret buying this sink. It's a workhorse and its size is exactly what you need for large pots.

I would say that it has transformed meal prep, making cleanup super easy! Anyone who comes over remarks abort the usefulness and versatility - not a day goes by where we don't use one of the features.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be forewarned – Not ideal for cleaning We have owned this sink for over 2 years. Unfortunately, the angle of the bottom is not very steep and thus, water alone is not sufficient to move remaining food particles to the drain. Every night we remove the sink rack and use our hands to move the food particles to the drain, turn on the water to clean the bottom and then replace the sink rack (which must be cleaned on a regular basis). At this price point we would expect that the Kohler engineers could design the angle of the bottom to make the sink easier to clean. We have a porcelain Kohler sink at a second home and the angle of it is sufficient so that water alone is enough to clean the sink without manually moving the food particles to the drain - so we know it is possible. In addition, even though we have tried to minimize the water on the cutting board, it needs to be cleaned regularly and over time, the cutting board has become badly warped.

Very functional. I got the 45 " one and it does not appear to be big once installed. I would buy and recommend the sink again.
