We ordered and received the KOHLER Sundae 4in. on center bathroom faucet in matte black to place on the vanity. We have used Kohler products many times over the years and have always been pleased with the quality, fit and finish. This faucet set is no exception as the finish is flawless and the hot/cold faucet action is silky smooth. This is a great looking set that I would recommend to anyone. It’s easy to install and looks great too. I’ve included a few photos to show the product post installation.

Just what you would expect from a top faucet manufacturer. Kohler Sundae brings a contemporary look into your bathroom with this faucet while giving you desired features. The installation instructions are clearly written to make the process easy. Some of the features that we appreciate are the Spot Repel Matte Black finish and the Durable Ceramic Valves for a leak free life. The included matching pop up drain allows for a quicker install. The installation was quick and easy and even though I didn't need to use the instructions I looked them over and I was disappointed they didn't address the placement of the plastic sink gasket that goes between the faucet and the sink. A beginner may have issues with that. One thing we really like is the sink stopper can be fully removed to clean out the wonderful hair gunge that tends to build up in bathroom sinks. It does have the push to stop/push to release but you can easily just pull the entire stopper our for cleaning.

The stopper can be screwed out for easy cleaning of clogs and hair. No more ugly holes on top of faucet or pulling a lever that tends to come apart if tugged a little hard. The faucet it is very modern and chic while the matt black coordinates with my bathroom cabinets and mirror frame. There was no need for plumbers putty or tape and there are no leaks. The water flow is smooth and water-saving at 1.2 gallons per minute. The high arc of the faucet means no more bending over low too low for an aching back.

Its finish is a smooth flat black. The faucet is over 7 inches tall, and extends forward about 6 inches. It has 4 inch spaced holes for installation. It is heavy and solid feeling, well made. The valves work smoothly. It comes with a matching black popup drain assembly. This brand is one I’ve had good success with in the past, and this faucet does not disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this faucet to install in my basement (all concrete block) bathroom that was a mess when I moved in. I'm in the process of waiting to grout the new tile on the floor but also have to paint the walls, shower, trim and entry door. It will be installed on a small wall mounted sink in which I've included a picture below. This faucet is really well made and comes with a push down sink drain which is a lot easier to clean compared to the ones that have a pull-up handle attached behind the faucet spout! The matte black is perfect for this bathroom as I will also be installing matte black shower fixtures and towel holders. The faucet is for a 4 inch on center sink and you will need 1/2"-14 NPSM supply hoses if you don't already have those. The instructions are super easy to follow. I've installed many Kohler faucets in my bathrooms and have always found them to be beautiful, well made, easy to install, and, most importantly, reliable!!!

All my vanities have Kohler fixtures and they looks amazing and last long. Also they have good customer service. I love that Kohler has been doing the clicker drains ,so much better than the pull lever thing older faucets had. They are made well and for easy cleaning. Also most diyers can install these. It tool me about 15 min to remove an old faucet and install this new one. Love the flat black color. Thankyou

Heavy duty feel, not flimsy. This was very easy to install and swap out from the old faucet fixture. The drain stop is a push down style, rather than a separate push/pull lever. We swapped with an older faucet, but this could be used for a new installation too. Comes with all the hardware needed for installation. Will be getting more to update all of our bathrooms.

Does the gold finish easily show water spots?

Hi Jay9, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I am glad to address your question. Water spots can show on any metallic finish when the water is hard or salt from a water softener is present. To help prevent them, we suggest wiping the product dry after use. To remove them, you can use a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

Hi, we installed this faucet in agusy bit purchased it in June of 2023... the finish/ paint is coming off by where the water comes out... how can this be fixed? I love the faucet but it's been imstalled for less than 2 months....
