I absolutely love it, very comfortable, and ergonomically correct. We play a lot of sports in our house and soaking away the pain is crucial. Our building does not allow jetted or bubble tubs, this is the go-to for anyone renovating in our Coop, I know at least 2 other neighbors with the same tub. Pro-Tip: if you intend to have two people soak mount your spigot on the side wall if possible rather at the end of the tub. As a side note, it is really annoying to see people give this product a bad rating because of delivery issues, has nothing to do with the tub, get over yourselves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this tub has very clean lines, great appearance Excellent and beautiful product, but a bit over-priced. You can get the larger version of the same tub for less money. It's 377 lbs., so a bit difficult to move and set in place. Some difficulty installing the drain open/close leaver. It's a pretty rectangular leaver, but doesn't expand wide enough to get it bolted to the tub very easily. When my plumber call Kohler about this problem, their solution was; "just pull harder".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hopefully the third time is the charm This is the third time I have ordered this product. The first two times the porcelain was cracked when I took delivery. This has put me 6 weeks behind schedule on my bathroom remodel. This is inexcusable. There is no reason why a bathtub cannot be shipped without damage. Homedepot.com apologizes and offers a slight discount. Minor effort to compensate for a major supply chain problem. My local store No. 3902 is great. They do what they can to make a bad situation tolerable. I would be very cautious about ordering this product.

I did not realize that with both ends sloping the tub would be too short to stretch out your legs. It is a very uncomfortable tub. I'm 5' 1" and can not stretch out in the tub. The next bad feature is the slope of the back which is too steep to be comfortable. My prior, less expensive Koher tub was much better. The tub is beautiful but I want to replace it for a more comfortable tub. But this tub if you are content to sit up with most of your body out of the warm water. The tub is also deep and harder for older people to get in and out of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent price and quality, but didn't fit my application I had to return this tub because it didn't work in a bath and shower combination because I needed a tub with three sided tile flange. The reason I rated it highly is because the quality of the product was excellent and returning the tub to Home Depot was quick and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bath for 2 smaller adults! My wife and I are two smaller people who live in a very small home. This bath was a big upgrade from the old, dingy, shallow, 4 foot tub that came with our home. We were both shower people before but we just LOVE bathing in this! The contours of the tub are very comfortable for us and the water is nice and deep. We are glad we spent the extra money and made the extra effort to get this in cast iron. Yes, cast iron is expensive, and getting something so heavy delivered and into our bathroom was a big pain in the you-know-what. We don't expect to ever have to buy a tub, or to move this one again though! Now that it is installed, the tub is so smooth, shiny, substantial, cleanable, and perfectly white. It makes us feel nice and clean. We love it! Admittedly, since we bath together often, if our house were not so little we would wish this tub were bigger. Larger people probably would not want to bath in this tub together so much. In our small house though we already had to move a wall and sacrefice a slice off our spare room to make room for this. We would not choose to allot more of our limited space to the bathroom. We think this is the perfect compromise between space allowances and bath comfort, for our desires.

Can I use a different Drain for this Tub? My plumber says the Brass one sold by Kohler for this tub, will not last with the water we have out in the country. It eats right through our copper pipe, he has just replaced all of the copper pipe with plastic PVC. Would like to find a PVC drain that would fit this tub. Thanks,

tile wall surrounds

I don't see a tile flange on the 3 sides of this tub so how does the tile have to go in for it to adequately drain into the tub and not leak? Also, which tub would be better suited for a 3 wall tile alcove, this one or the Highbridge. Both seem to leave very little ledge on the inside wall.
Asked by: Cher
Thank you for your inquiry. For the Tea-for-Two bath you would want to purchase a tile-in bead to install in a 3 wall alcove to prevent leaking. Both tubs can be used for 3 wall tile alcove. The difference is the Tea-for-Two you purchase the tile-in bead seperate and the Highbridge has the intergral tile flange.

what is a reversible drain? how wide does the deck need to be around the tub?
Asked by: endive
Hello Endive, my name is Tiffany with Kohler Co. I am happy to help answer the question about the Tea of Two bath. Reversible drain indicates that the drain can be either located on the right or left side of the bath by simply rotating the bath 180 degrees during installation. The deck size can vary depending on installation, but should be large enough for the faucet to be installed. Thank you for choosing The Bold Look Of Kohler.

What do I need to have to install this in a three-wall alcove? Can you link me to it? Also, since none of the sides appear to be finished, how does one finish the fourth side?
Asked by: FirstTimeRemodeler
Hello, my name is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. To install this in a 3 wall alcove, it would require the use of a tiling in bead. This is product number K-1179. The fourth side would require a custom built apron. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.
