Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kohler Triko Round Toilet Seat - Mexican Sand Color Very nice toilet seat, excellent quality, easy to install and color matched perfectly to our old Kohler Wellington toilet. Ordered online and picked up in the store, was painless and didn't have to pay for shipping. However, I too had the problem with the caps popping open occasionally that others have reported, only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. So after a couple months of frustration of having to keep closing the caps, I called Kohler but they were no help. Then while searching for an answer I noticed the caps when closed sit right on the base of the toilet so I believe any torque on the hinge pushes them against the base which is what causes them to pop open. So I fashioned a spacer out of some foam rubber I had from another project to mount under the bottom of the bold holders to create small gap of less than a 1/32 of an inch and problem solved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good The ice grey color was a good match for my Kohler toilet that is about 12 years old. This is my first wooden seat. Its much heavier and makes more noise when opened and closed than the plastic one we were using. It has exposed metal screw heads that are visible when in the open position. I have concern for these rusting and being difficult to clean over time. The plastic caps over the screws don't stay closed all the time, like others have mentioned. The hole opening is smaller but it is more study than the plastic seat. I kept the plastic one for reuse since I don't think this one will hold up as long. Although the plastic had some scratches and wasn't as study, it was easy to clean and durable.

I had to go to my local hardware store and buy a better one. but no big deal at all. the seat is great!

We do not use bath cleaner on the seat and toilet so we have not experienced any streaking. We use organic cleaners or vinegar water only.

Can you provide measurements length & width?

The seat itself is 15 1/2" long by 14 3/8" wide. The cover is 14 3/4" long by 13 3/4" wide. My length figures do Not include the distance from the back of the seat to the center line of the bolt hole in the hinge assembly. Add about 1 1/2" to the length of the seat & 1 3/4" to the length cover for the distance from the bolt hole center line (also the center line of the holes in your toilet) to the front ends of the seat & cover respectively. In other words, 17" length for the seat & 16 1/2" for the cover.
