Unlike any other rail system on the market, the Windet 3-in-1 combo shower kit installs easily on your existing shower arm for an effortless DIY upgrade, and has an elevated transitional design that will go with your existing bathroom style. Its magnetic docking rail allows you to dock your handshower at any height so its user- friendly for children and seniors, and with the simple push of a button on the bottom of the rail, you can divert water from the handshower to the showerhead. Definitely has a modern feel but practical in form and versatility. Diverter control at bottom of rail is push button user friendly. This shower rail combo complements my other black matte finish bath hardware and will look great as a contrasting piece to my white shower tiles and backsplashes. Love my choice and can't wait to complete my bath remodel with this Kohler showering combo. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shower System It took a while to have this system installed since I had it professionally installed and then needed to wait for a tile contractor to repair the holes that had to be cut into the wall for the valve and the shower head. But it was well worth the wait. My only complaint is that there is very little information about how to get to the functions of the shower system. The information provided provides details about all the neat features, but it is pretty much trial and error to make it work. My favorite features are the magnetic fastening of the handheld to the shower rail and the location of the diverter, all within easy reach for a short person.

The flat black finish is beautiful. Fairly easy installation if your even a bit handy. The hand sprayer with the magnetic hold allows you the height you want. The rain shower head swivels 180 degrees for straight down flow or an angle flow. Hand held has several different sprays at the touch of your finger. A simple button changes from rainhead to hand held. The shower arm, pipe from the wall is not included due to differences in mounting on your shower wall.

Which is good in the fact if you accidentally bump it while using the shower it’s not going to fall off. The bad is it might be too hard for elder people or kids to move. Pulling the handheld off the rail puts all the pressure on the adhesive which I’m not sure is going to hold up over time. At this time, I don’t trust using the included screws because I don’t know the location of studs and plumbing. The included instructions could be better. More details or helpful notes on installing the adhesive plates would be nice. Once the showering rail is installed it looks nice and has solid construction. The three adjustable spray settings in the handshower are easy to change. It looks nice right now but if the adhesive doesn’t hold it in place, I might have some additional work trying to locate the stud. Make sure to check your spacing to be sure you have room for this showering rail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picking out the shower system became the most stressful part of our bathroom remodel until I found the Koehler Windet showering rail. I wanted both a rain shower overhead and a hand held that could attach at various heights. The adjustable handheld works great as a grandchild’s shower! The only thing you need to supply is the Plummer’s tape. All of the fittings are hand tighten. The water supply pipe needs to be 5 3/4 inches from the wall, you might need to swap yours out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great looks poor water pressure We love the way the showerhead looks, the way that you can put the wand higher or lower. However, after removing a restrictor, we still have poor water pressure coming out of it. My water pressure coming out of the faucet is 82 psi so that is not the problem. The problem is within the unit there must be some other restrictor inside that I can’t find. I would not recommend this product with this price tag because we’re using way more water to remove shampoo or soap off of your body with the pour water pressure provides.

Has anybody figured out Steps 5 and 6 of the instructions?? I can't figure out how to "slide the shower column" during install. I'm thinking this is necessary for proper fit - I've tried 6" and 8" shower arms with no luck.

Same problem trying to slide the connector in the arm. I installed the shower neck by itself onto the arm connection to use as leverage and carefully exerted force on it. It budged loose and now slides freely up and down the arm.

How do you adjust the height of water connection?

I called Kohler support and was told it takes a LOT of force to get this connector to slide the first time. I could not get it to move by pushing. Instead, I tapped on it with the handle of a hammer so as not to scratch it. This worked like a charm.

Kohler rep is wrong. It does have a restrictor. It doesn't just pop out but you can drill it out and it works great!

What length shower arm is required for a proper install and fit of the Kohler Windet Showering Rail?
