Portable car cooler designed for life on the roadThe Koolatron P75 Kool Kaddy electric travel cooler doesn't require any ice, which means there's plenty of space for extra food and drinks. The P75 Kool Kaddy is a portable 12 v plug in cooler with a 36 quart (34 L) capacity. It replaces traditional ice chests with technology that is even more sophisticated than your home refrigerator, and far better suited for travel. It's ideal for road trips, camping excursions, boating, and tailgate parties.Iceless cooling using Ttermoelectric technology Koolatron thermoelectric travel coolers keep your food and beverages cool without requiring you to stock up on ice. The P75 Kool Kaddy uses less power than your car's tail light and plugs directly into any car, truck or RV 12voutlet. When the cooler is plugged in, the thermoelectric cooling module cools contents to 40 F or 4 degrees Celsius. At a temperature of 80 degrees F your food and drinks will stay at 40 degrees.

It’s great as long as it is plugged in to your vehicle; however, it is not built to retain the cold temperatures after disconnecting. The main reason for the AVERAGE rating: The only way to retain the cold temp when the vehicle is not running is to remove it from the vehicle and plug into an electric supply by using a converter (separate purchase, it does not come with the cooler so plan on spending a bit more money). On the positive side, the size is perfect and it can be setup to stand like a mini-fridge if preferred. The concept is great, and it is a perfect way to carry beverages, yogurt, sandwiches, fruit, etc so you don’t have to eat fast food while traveling.
