Came on here looking to buy an auger to try next. The Beehive was shown as a recommended product to purchase along with the auger. I decided to pick it up too. After picking up in store, I took the product home with fingers crossed. I decided to try plunging again with the Beehive first. Wow! This thing works. I could hear and see the difference in plunging right away. After two plunges the toliet was fine and back working properly. Very impressed. We had a nice quality plunger before but this preformed leaps and bounds better. Before using an auger, or calling a plumber, definitely give this a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is Definitely the Best Plunger to Buy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My home has a mix of brand new toilets and 'older than the hills' toilets that I really need to get around to replacing. For this reason, this plunger really appealed to me. Old school plungers worked great on the older toilets, but not so great on my new models. Korky's design is the best of both worlds and works great for all of them. I also really like the handles on the top of the plunger. This is a great feature that really makes it so much more easier to push up and down. It is also made in the USA and is very sturdy for the tough jobs. It is the one plunger to rule them all! If you are going to buy a plunger, definitely get this one.

I was unable to unclog it using my old, supposedly superior plunger or snake which could not navigate the bends very far. I had also tried filling the bowl with hot tap water which has worked for me in the past; no luck with that either. I used this plunger; I slowly pushed down on it to get the air out, and then slowly allowed it to refill with incompressible water. I then gave one good downward plunge and the clog was gone! I cancelled the appointment I had with Mr. Rooter in case I was unsuccessful. Thanks to all the other reviewers who alerted me to this plunger that works on the newer designed toilets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take the plunge After 2 days of trying to unclog a stubborn toilet and just about to call a plumber, I came across the Beehive MAX Plunger. Thank goodness. 5 sec of use and the plug was gone! Easily achieves a tight seal with our Kohler and Toto toilets, which have a rectangular rather than round opening. An added benefit is that the design also doesn't cause nasty liquids to splash back at you while plunging, unlike standard round plungers. Thoroughly impressed. Never thought I could be so happy to own a plunger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for getting things moving. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend the Korky MaxPerformance Plunger. I was able to try this plunger out on a toile,t that seems to always get clogged and it worked great. My toilet has the new HET shape, so not a round whole and the seal was perfect. Fits all types of toilet bowls, older and new. No splash back seal is an added benefit. The handle design, I find to be an improvement on other plungers. Fast clog removal, that really works. Made in the USA. Quality material and product. Made of non-marking rubber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice compact toilet plunger [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet plunger is a welcome relief to the 30 year old badly cracked rubber toilet plunger which I can finally throw away. Not only was my old plunger worn out it would not effectively seal one of my elongated bowels whenever flushing was sluggish. This newer style not only seals the opening up tightly it will also form a tight seal on the newer elongated bowels. The T-handle is also kinder on your hands during a plugging session and will hang nicely on tool hooks. What is also nice is the fact this toilet plunger is made in the good old USA which for me means it should last for many years unlike the imported junk which has a nasty habit of breaking or malfunctioning

I literally just bought this plunger at THD about 15 minutes ago--I'm already back home and the horrible clog is cleared! It took about five plunges to clear, although probably three of those were user error and I didn't have a good angle, so let's say two good plunges to clear the clog. I had been working for an hour last night and again this morning to clear it with an old, basic plunger that was doing nothing. BUY THIS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job Didnt realize what piece of crap my old plunger was till i brought this home. Customers who say the rubber collapses i believe aren’t plunging right - yes there is a technique to plunging and pushing the handle all the way down isn’t it. They must have slightly changed the design since the reviewer who complained about water getting sucked into the handle.... yes its hollow but there’s a barrier that wouldn’t allow the water up. My bowl is slightly elongated from round, but not extreme like the new toilets. Fit and sealed beautifully and believe it would be fine on the HET ones as well, as the rubber is flexible. Will buy another one for the second toilet upstairs when i go back to HD to return the auger i ended up not needing. We have a nice plumber but won’t be calling him this time.

Is it okay to use in standing water?

Standing water in toilet. Can I use this plunger in standing water?
Asked by: CM
Sure you can! I seriously doubt you're gonna have any standing water after that! just be sure to let as much air out of the hole in the ball as you can plus the lip around the hole fits well in kitchen drains & disposals.

Cleaning

For those of you who've used this, how do you go about cleaning the "gunk" out? Looks like its sealed.
Asked by: Ruth
I have Home Depot’s $2.00 orange bucket. I pour some Lysol in it, mix with a gallon of water and then leave the cup in it for an hour or so, then rinse it. It’s that simple.

When I run water in sink it goes in toilet, I plunge toilet and it , goes down slowly, , but when I flush it , it fills,

Asked by: Bonnie
Sounds like a clogged lined to the sewer/septic system. You probably have some blockage that could be anything from roots to a broken line to toilet "junk". Needs to be checked at the cleanout point (outside the house). Call a plumber. Also have them check for clogged vent stack lines.

The Korky Beehive Max toilet plunger may work, however, it is specifically designed for use in toilets. A better alternative is the Korky Beehive Mini sink and drain plunger, available at Home Depot and on Homedepot.com (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Korky-Beehive-Mini-Sink-and-Drain-Plunger-94-6A/304783666).
