The racks at the bottom suppose to prevent scratches but we still have scratches and we are very careful (installed about a month ago). There is always standing water so make sure you dry the sink. Overrated.

The drains that came with the sink are plastic. Is there a metal version that I can use?

The drains which are included with any Kraus stainless steel sink are constructed of stainless steel but do have some plastic parts such as the tail piece and plastic nut. You can utilize other brands of drains as long as they are compatible with a 3.5 inch sink opening. However according to the feedback we receive from customers, Kraus drains are of a superior quality than what you will find in stores. Hi Millie, Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing these stains on your new sink. I assure you, they are not rust marks. Typically, when red spots appear on a Stainless Steel Sink like ours it is simply surface discoloration. This is usually taken care of permanently with a stainless steel polish and/or cleaner when used according to the directions of the cleaning product. Products such as Bar Keeper’s friend and a fine 3M Scotch Brite pad are both great options. The specs are confusing. It says cut-out L-R is 29.8" and the kitchen sink L-R is 32.75. Shouldn't that be the other way around? I need to know what the actual size of the sink is installed L-R and Front to Back flush with granite.Would appreciate a prompt reply as I have to make a decision today. Thanks

The actual sink is 30” wide. The other measurements are outside to outside of the flange that meets the counter

I'm confused on the specs. I am replacing my current undermount sink that has a cutout in the granite that is 29 1/2 inches wide. The specs say the the cutout width is 29.8 inches which would be perfect. Does the cutout width in specs take into account for the width of the separation between the bowls or does is the width of the bowl separator additional?
