Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly The Kreg Jig Jr is one of those rare products that does exactly what it promises to do, and works as easily as you would hope. I did 8 pockets in about 10-15 minutes without touching the instruction booklet. The jig has a slider that allows you to set for the proper depth very quickly and it doesn't move once it is set. The storage box has a nice setup for choosing the collar depth on the drill bit. I used one quick release clamp to hold the jig in place on the wood, and one to hold the wood down on my bench. I found having one clamp trying to hold the jig and the wood to the bench did not work as well. At this point I don't feel like I need to spend the extra money on the kreg clamp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing for a fairly new-to-DIYer We have a pub height table I wanted to get to get two benches for, but the ones I liked were way out of my budget. I found a step by step guide that used a kreg jig, and was nervous to try it. Thankfully it was self explanatory and hid the screws beautifully. I have some gorgeous farmhouse benches for my table, made even more so by the fact that you can’t see the screws! I do wish that the kreg clamp came with this as it is necessary, another clamp won’t hold the jig in place. I had to go back the get the kreg clamp

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What I Needed I was in between getting this one and the smaller one without the place for the clamp and I am really glad I got this one, worth the bit extra money because you get a perfect pocket hole every time. The small tabs on the end that measure the depth make it straight every time. I also just bought a regular metal clamp that worked just fine. I am a complete amateur woodworker at best and I had no problem using it. Pretty fool proof!

I am a beginner when to comes to wood working and this made my project look like an expert job! Too bad it was hard to track down. Not all stores stock Kreg items. PLEASE HOME DEPOT make this a regular item in all your stores!!!

Why at my local homedepot do you sell the Kreg screws but not the jigs. If I want to order it online I have to travel 1 hour to the closest store to get it. Guess I will have to order from someplace else that will deliver to my house. Your loss
