Latex-item 17.9L (4.75-Gal) Runway Formula Driveway sealer is a high performance, asphalt emulsion based low VOC driveway sealer designed to beautify and protect your blacktop driveway. Runway Formula is a non-skid formula that will fill hairline (1/8 inch or less) cracks and contains polymer additives for strength and flexibility. Helpful Hints before you seal your driveway: 1. Purchase an extra pail: Any unused portion CAN be saved for touch-ups (you do not want to run out during the project as you might get colour variations.) 2. Flip pails overnight prior to doing job (it will be much easier to mix in the morning and will ensure consistency during application). 3. Do the project all at one time without starting and stopping. 4. Check the weather and make sure no rain is forecast and it is at least 12.8 degrees C (55 degrees F) at night (a cold driveway will not allow the sealer to cure properly). 5. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Price and Quality were good. I used this product for mine and my neighbors driveway and applied it with a squeegee. I am happy with the results as now I have a clean or refreshed looking driveway and I hope it lasts me several years. I usually like to seal the driveway myself to save having to hire someone. It's really not that difficult, plus it's regular home maintenance that's better than the alternative of having to redo your driveway completely which costs a lot more and is a more technical process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Driveway Sealer for the price! I bought expensive driveway sealers, stuff on sale, and this driveway sealer from HD. I'll be honest, it is all designed to do one thing, whether asphalt, latex, polymer or acrylic. To renew the look of your driveway. I can honestly say, that I have not seen a difference (short or long term) regardless the product or cost from my past experiences resealing my driveways. So for the money, you cannot go wrong with this driveway sealer. I will tell you, that you WILL need a large pail paint mixing rod to properly mix the sludge that has settled to the bottom of the pail. A pail mixing stick from the paint mixing department will snap. Having the paint department shake the pail for you Will NOT work because the slurry goop at the bottom of the pail has has thickened so much that a physical contact force is required to properly mix the sealer (I had the paint department shake it for me and it did not loosen the one inch thickened sediment from the bottom of the pail). The product goes on well, and if you have a super smooth driveway, then use a squeegee. If not, then get a light roller 19mm to apply the sealer. The one huge benefit, no matter how clean you are, you will get some on your skin. This washes right off with soap and water.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible experience I have probably sealer driveways at my houses 8 times over the last 30 years. Usually I purchase a mid priced sealer. This time after reading the reviews I purchased 5 pails of this product. The first and fourth pails worked as expected The others would not adhere to the surface. Large chunks of tar/rubber collected on the roller and would fly off sticking on the surface at random places. I spent the next day scraping off the globs. I had spent a day powerwashing the driveway prior to applying the product. I even tried using a squeeze. What waste of time the tar/rubber just rolled up into hotdog size globs. I spent ample time mixing the sealer both with a stick and drill mixer. I have never had any issues with any other sealer in the past.

I have an almost full jug, can I keep it and use it next year? How should it be stored?

This should not be problem as long as the container is sealed properly. Only issue is you will have to mix it really well when using.
