Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best filler ever Purchased this 10 years ago for filling small cracks and nail halls. I was using same tube at least twice a year and was still soft and effectively filling holes and cracks. I tried to use it this year, but it resigned and refused to work. I left it to rest in peace and bought another one again. This a product you must to have. I recommend it to everyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not dry white, shows through surround Extremely disappointed with this product. We bought the kit off 3 tubes of adhesive and one tube of sealant, as recommended by a Home Depot employee, to install our Maax tub surround. This adhesive does not dry white, and is visible through the surround walls. Our surround is ruined and will have to be replaced... I will be contacting Home Depot as the information on the website is inaccurate (it does not dry white, stays the same beige colour as when it first came out of the tube.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average product Purchased it today and as soon as I first began using it the filler poured out from the bottom of the tube. Poor quality tube but the product works well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Adhesive is Tan; not white clear Bought this for use on the Maax Panama Tub Surround; expecting wgite or clear (as packaging is non-descript on colour. Went to use it and it was tan; thought "no big deal". Used on tback and side panels with no issue. But when i used on the corner panels, you could see the tan through. I know the transparency of the tub surround is not Lepages fault, bit would have been nice for packaging to show or say colour so i could have purchased another product instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked perfectly Used to fill holes (4 total) made by the screws & anchors that were used to secure a bookshelf. Be sure to warm & knead the product per the directions. My walls look great. Will definitely use again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient Convenient for quick repairs prior to painting. I recommend using the whole tube in one session because a half dry tube tends to dry out on the shelf.

is it good to repair the cabinet hinge door hole?

Asked by: Deck Jr
No. Use poly fill WOOD or liquid wood for cabinet doors. Or take a few hundred toothpicks, break them into small pieces and glue them into the hole using carpenter glue.

I need to remove the old caulk around my bathtub, and replace it. Is this product suitable for that purpose, i.e., LePage Ultra Seal Tub & Shower Surround Kit, Model # 1442490, HD SKU 1000479040

Asked by: David
Thank you for the question. The item you refer to is a kit having 3 tubes of adhesive and 1 tube of caulking. Are you installing a new tub surround or just recaulking the bathtub? Either way, the successful “recaulking” of the bathtub with the LePage caulking supplied in the kit will depend upon what the old caulking was originally that is being removed. If it is was a 100% silicone then the LePage product in the kit will not seal properly and you may need to use another silicone product such as LePage® Ultra Seal™ Kitchen & Bath is a 100% silicone.

Will this work with DUROCK cement board?

Asked by: Shakil
If You are joining a tub surround to durock cement board then yes it will bond well. I recommend covering the Cement board in a liquid waterproof membrane before you adhere to it.

I primed the drywall, but is best to adhere to the manufactures recommendations.

I plan on gluing a new tub wall on top of the old. Is this the correct adhesive? Or do you recommend a different PL product?

Asked by: SteveV
This is more of a sealant than an adhesive. Use for joints and seams in a surround. I would try a different PL adhesive.
