This is the glue you need if you want to glue or repair anything plastic. It works better than epoxy and I've used it on everything from plastic vacuum parts to bike parts. Try it you'll like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAR Exceeded Expectations! We have a "shivering snowman" Christmas inflatable. The shivering effect was not working, a common complaint on-line. I designed a completely different mechanism, which required attaching a 3/8" clear vinyl tube to a tiny, spinning nylon gear on the original motor. I tried epoxy adhesives that lasted only a day or two. Then I tried Lepage All Plastic Super Glue. For over five weeks now, the glue has adhered the tube to nylon gear, the motor has been rotating the tube, and the snowman has been shivering in the genuinely-freezing cold. The temperature here in Winnipeg has dropped well below -20ºC many days already!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy I bought this to repair my cat’s favourite toy, a plastic stick that broke in half. Used it once, waited 48 hours as it said on the box, and it came apart as soon as I lifted it up. Tried again another day, but as soon as I removed the glue tube tip, it fished out uncontrollably without me squeezing the tube. Unfortunately some of it landed on an expensive table and is now permanent. I won’t hold my breath for the company to reimburse me for the $300 piece of furniture it ruined. In short: doesn’t work, and will destroy your belongings.

Had some success as the repair held for about 10 uses until bowl broke again. Went to use the glue again but found that product had dried up - as other reviewers have mentioned, this is a 1-time use product. So purchased a second glue kit but this time repaired 2 plastic items. Both items failed right away. So i tested the glue on a few other plastic items to see if perhaps it was the type of plastic that I was having the issue with. Conclusion - this glue is no better than cheap super glue you can get at the dollar store. All marketing / no delivery. Lesson learned -I should have put the $20 I spent on this towards a new bowl instead of wasting on this product.

I have purchased this twice, and both times very carefully stored the product after use. I could not get the cap off to use it a second time. I used scissors to cut the tube open and it was COMPLETELY dried out, just days after first use.

Is this suitable for acrylic (plexiglas)?

Thank you for the question. LePage Super Glue All Plastics will bond to ABS plastic, but it will not work if it is to be used as a crack or seam repair.

What is the Activator?

What is the Activator? How id it applied? How does it work? Mine is a tuft of orange stuff.

In answer to your question regarding the LePage Super Glue All Plastics, the activator is heptane-based. Additionally, it must be used when bonding plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Prior to applying the adhesive, the activator must be applied to both surfaces. You will then need to wait approximately 60 seconds before applying the adhesive to 1 surface. All of the activator liquid should be contained within the tip of the activator "marker".

Will the glue bond rubber to plastic?

However, it would not be compatible with any type of silicone rubber and may not be appropriate for all types of rubber.
