Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product Product quality is superior, much better than great stuff I used in the past, which worked great. Make sure to use gloves as the foam won't come off your hands easily. I learnt about it from the giant retailer borrowing its name from the river. As with any foam if it drops anywhere don't clean - wait till it gets solid and peels off easily. Cons: it can get messy if you are not paying attention, straw is of inferior quality, pops out easily. Overall I'd buy again because of the quality. Ideally you will need a gun for this particular foam.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What you need to know... Do NOT use this with painter's tape. It drys so fast that even if you remove the tape almost immediately, the caulk will curl. Also, because it really IS invisible, caulk AFTER you paint otherwise you won't see how uneven your bead is until you try painting over it. (I'm going to have to remove this caulk from around my window glass and start again.) Furthermore, if you don't smooth it with your finger, you can't tell whether you applied it okay. I used it around the windows between glass and sash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product when used properly. Only product I can find that has any R rating (R5 per inch). However, take your time and invest in the gun. The included straws are a nightmare to use on any of the cans I've bought, but the pro gun dispenses evenly and cuts off supply to the end of the nozzle the moment you release the trigger. Pricey but completely worth the investment and makes this product an easy 5 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad nozzle design. The foam itself is good but the dispenser is horrible. The nozzle does not seal well on the can and it leaks while dispensing. Cannot recommend based on this issue. Tge main competitor is much better with a very solid (screw type) connection between the nozzle and the can. My review is consistent with many others!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pass on this one Stored and applied at 20c. Product has the consistency of liquid rubber. It is hard to apply a smooth bead and leaves voids which must be quickly tooled. The thickness does not allow it to flow into imperfections and seal cracks. I have used dozens of other clear silicons and this is the worst. I thought I would finish using the tubes I bought, but will be returning the rest as I refuse to fight with this any longer. Of all the panes with glass and plexiglass I have worked on, I can almost guarantee the window sealed with this will fail first.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from uncontrollable expansion/dispensing Not very happy with this product! I had very little dispensing control and ended up shooting too much foam in a gap. On top of that the foam expanded so much it fell out onto my wife's sofa!! Would not use again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality sealant. Fantastic ultra clear sealant. DO NOT TOOL. Selftooling & quick skinning. Sticks to everything except wet glass. Make sure your tubes are 10-20 degrees, does not self tool very well if cold, and it off-gasses if too hot. Can be applied in cold weather.

How thick can you go with this? Also how much cubic feet does this can cover?

Asked by: TEllis
Thank you for the question. We recommend perimeter sealing around windows, doors and rough openings then filling the gap to approximately 30%. If a cavity is too deep, you'll have to apply foam in layers to allow it to cure without suffocating itself. For a 598 g (21.1 oz) can of LePage QUAD Foam, a 9.6 mm (3/8”) bead size will deliver approximately 320 m (1051 ft) of foam and a 12.7 mm (1/2”) bead size will deliver approximately 186 m (611 m) of foam. Please note that the yields shown are based on theoretical calculations and will vary depending on ambient conditions and your particular application. If you'd like further assistance on how to apply this product, please call our technical help line. -The Henkel/Lepage Team 1-800-624-7767

Is it water proof? Can this be used to fill cracks at the junction of garage wall and garage floor? I'd likely use polyurethene sealant on top of it once its hardened.

Asked by: Sido
The LePage QUAD Foam is water resistant but not waterproof. It can be used for the application described however it is better to use polyethylene backer rod in the joint then use a polyurethane sealant so as not to create 3 sided adhesion.

Thank you for the question. The QUAD Invisible is a solvent based product and is not recommended for inside occupied structures or for interior use. This product should not be used inside on windows.
