Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save Your Money - do NOT but this product I bought this a couple of weeks ago and used today. I was forced to put in a star. My preference would have been to give it zero stars. WE bought it because there was nothing else and frankly it was a waste of money. The nozzle provided doesn't even fit the spout which means the stuff gets everywhere. Just trying to get the nozzle on activated the foam. Couldn't keep gloves on because the stuff kept making the fingers of my gloves stick together and I can't get the stuff off my hands. It managed to not stay/stick where I wanted it. Whatever you think you need this for. Don't bother. Wait for a product that actually works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best foam product on the market Probably the best foam product you can buy. I like it better than their more expensive Quad foam. This stuff is very dense and starts to harden pretty quick, so you will want to try to ensure you don't need to reuse the straw later on. If you need to reuse the straw later, try poking a coat hanger down to the bottom of the straw. Later, when it hardens inside the straw, twist and pull out the hanger. That should clear the straw. The only thing I don't like about the product is the quantity. It often takes me two cans to finish an area I could cover with one can of Great Stuff. So that means much more container waste to have to recycle. I'd like to see these offered in cans 2x the size for a 50% increase in cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it and will buy again Easier to put on than the old yellow stuff. Looks cleaner and seemed to do the job the same. Easier to cleanup and less oily texture to it. I'm really really happy with this product. I've spread the word that friends and family should try this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another piece of junk that ends up in recycling. I bought this product online about a month ago and picked it up at the local HD store. Have no complaints about delivery and HD service. Great as usual. However, the product itself was 100% useless. No matter what I did, how much I shook the can, how hard I was trying to get the foam out of the can, it just didn't work. Quite frustrating... I used to like this brand. The fact that this product was made in Europe added to my trust, however, I gained nothing but a headache and another useless item in my recycling bin. I would like to replace it but it's too late.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY - Defective can nozzle - breaks. Bought three of these cans online and two in store. Cans are defective. They require A LOT of force to start dispensing foam. Of course after a couple of attempts, the white nozzle that the dispensing tube screws into broke off. Two cans failed this way after dispensing maybe 10% of the can contents. Do not buy. Can I get replacements or my money back?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LePage expands more than others products. LePage Tite foam was less money and less product than larger cans of Great Stuff but easily out preformed the larger cans at the amount of expansion. If you are trying to fill large gaps I would recommend using LePage because you get far more expansion out of this product than other so called large gap filler products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from closed cell foam works well to block drafts I used this closed cell spray foam to fill gaps around styrofoam panels. It was easy to apply accurately and I cut off the excess after it dried to the touch. It had no adverse effect on the styrofoam panels. When cut you, will not see large air bubble spaces as in other types (open cell) of foam in spray cans.

Can this product be used as insulation for a small back wall in a cubbyhole in our travel trailer

Asked by: BILL93040
This product is for gaps. I believe you are asking about a small area. This product might work for the application if you apply it in small amounts but not made for this application. I think probably sheet type styrofoam insulation would be better.

can this be painted? or can I apply spackle to it and sand and paint?

Asked by: Deedee
No. I recommend to do "Sand and Paint" the window "First." Then "Apply" the foam around the outside of the frame. Then "Apply" each of the "Frames "Squarely" around the window. "ATTENTION:" Make sure that each of the "Frames" are "Centred And Square" around the window.

Can your trite foam polyurethane sealant be used on exterior hairline cracks on concrete walls?

Asked by: PatC
Thank you for the question. The LePage TITE FOAM Gaps & Cracks would not be well suited for use in hairline cracks. It is better to use a caulking/sealant product for this purpose. If your repair is non-structural in nature ten our LePage Polyfilla Brickfix Mortar Filler is ideal.

Im wondering how this product expands compared to the System 15 spray kit, and roughly what kind of square footage I can expect to cover with one can. Regards, Eli

Asked by: Elijah
This product expands about 3 times what is dispensed and is not a spray type foam. The yield for the LePage Tite Foam aerosol can is based on lineal footage and/or cubic feet. Product is for beading and filling gaps, cracks, and holes commonly found around the home. The product is not designed to be used as a “spray” foam and therefore calculations for square footage or board feet coverage is not available.

Is this LOW expansion? I want to fill a small central hole in a hollow core door without warping it.

Asked by: Laurel
Thank you for the question. The LePage Gaps and Cracks is not classified as low expansion foam. It is not well suited for filling blind cavities either.

Wanting to use this product to insulate the gaps around my (trailer) windows. I have 16 windows total and I'm wondering how many cans will be required to do the perimeter of each (roughly 2'x4' each; some smaller, some bigger). Thanks!

Asked by: Mel_L
Thank you for the question. The LePage Tite Foam Insulating Foam has a calculated yield based on a 9.5 mm (3/8”) extruded bead size of approximately 41.1 m (134 ft.) of foam. The Yield is based on theoretical calculations, for comparison purposes only, and will vary depending on ambient conditions and application. Keeping in mind that you do not need to fill the cavity around each window should not need more that two cans. Remember this Foam expands after installation and during cure.
