A sanitary tee allows liquids to drain while also allowing the plumbing system to vent. when viewed from the side it has a definite downward sweep to the center inlet to assist the liquid in its travels toward a drain pipe. The uppermost fitting of the tee is connected into the building's plumbing ventilation system.

Suitable for use on gas appliance termination fittings on the outside of buildings to prevent debris or animal infiltration. Fits certified or non-certified schedule 40 fitting hubs. For use with ABS or PVC fittings. Removable for cleanout and inspection.
