Leviton Circuit Breakers provide overload and short-circuit protection and feature an all plug-on design. All hot and neutral wires terminate at custom lugs in the panel, not at the circuit breaker, so the entire panel can be wired at rough-in without circuit breakers installed. Leaving the option of having the circuit breakers easily plugged-on at final installation. They also feature colour indicators in the handle to easily see operational status at-a-glance. This breaker will work only in Leviton branded residential panels.

Using this type of panel board and breakers is a little different than what has been done for 100 years, but it is still easy to work with. It was strange that the breaker doesn’t actually get any wiring connected to them. It was a little strange too that the neutral wire seems to connect at the breaker as well, but the neutral bar is different than the norm as well. In all it is an easy system to use, it’s just set up a little different.

Where 1 neutral is servicing 2 circuits you?ll need to use a 2 pole breaker, this is also NEC code.
